We’re so grateful for our home away from home!
Pros:

We love the Sylvia so much! We have stayed there at least three times a year for the past thirty years. We come up from Seattle. It’s our home away from home. We even have a picture of it on our wall at home! The location is delightful by English Bay. The atmosphere of this beautifully cared for hotel is perfect for us. We have stayed in several different types of rooms and they are all really good. It’s a very good value. The cleanliness is perfect, always. The noise level is ever so much better than other nearby neighborhoods. The service is exquisite and the staff are very kind and accommodating. We love the restaurant with its view of the bay.

Great value and location, lovely staff and access to everything you’d need for a great trip to Vancouver.
Pros:

Location to so many things, antique vibes, views, and staff. All top notch!

Cons:

The rooms are dated but that is to be expected! It’s an old hotel! But the lobby and restaurant have aged really nicely. It’s classic down there!
