Beautiful setting and lovely cabin.
Everything
Beautiful property, peaceful and extremely well maintained!!
Great location to all the wineries
For the price you pay, they should at least offer free tastings at the sister wineries
Things are very clean and organized and well laid out.
The restaurant for dinner was disappointing. I ordered a steak was supposed to be a 7 ounce fillet and it was maybe 4 1/2 ounces and cut up. It looked like they had oven roasted a whole loin and then just cut a couple slices off and put them on my plate the rest of my meal is kind of blah as well.
It was a awesome place and beautiful views
The staff was great and the for was too in the restaurant
The property was nice, quiet, and clean. Well taken care of
Nothing honestly
This was our first trip to the resort and it was great. We loved it was pet friendly and were able to bring our dog along with us. We stayed in a cabin, off in the woods and it was very clean and decorated nicely. We had dinner and brunch at the on-site restaurant and it was fabulous. The food was exceptionally good and high quality. It was right out of the page of Southern Living magazine.
Nothing really.
Peaceful haven in the Dahlonega wine region. Beautiful sunrise and sunsets at this property. Made us fall in love with Dahlonega!
None!
I requested first level and explained that health reasons make it difficult to climb stairs. They put us in a cabin since we had pets, which was fine, but there was a steep, chat climb up to the cabin as well as stairs. Two vacant, identical cabins were directly across from ours. There was a flatter entry and NO stairs. I was confined, after I finally made the climb.
I declared my pets when I applied, but the price that was charged to my credit card did not include a pet fee-their mistake. When I checked out I was told they had taken a pet fee from my credit card . I wasn't given a chance to negotiate or question why not on my original charge. I was not given the option to deny the reservation charge. It could have
The location and views
It was completely desolate when we arrived at 5:30. We had difficulty getting the door to work ; it was different than a regular code door as it had a double bolt which had to be turned and we thought you only. Needed to put in the code ; we called after hours number but didn’t get an answer ; so I tried again about 15 min later and someone answered and explained the double bolt had it be turned to unlock the door ; the room was also very cold despite us turning the air down .
A beautiful retreat enveloped in nature..
Beautiful views, loved the outdoor sitting areas.
Very attractive building and a small but very comfortable room with beautiful views. The reception team were very helpful
The venue seems to be primarily geared for weekend receptions and it is perfect for these kind of events. There is no bar or restaurant service outside these times, so, for instance, it wasn’t possible to get a glass of wine on Sunday evening or breakfast on Monday morning.
Our last visit was 2023 for my wife’s birthday. I decided to revisit and was rewarded with yet another stellar visit/experience. Brook and Naomi were fantastic servers.
The Dahlonega Resort & Vineyard was wonderful. It's well-situated in an area full of wineries and even a great distillery. The campus itself is gorgeous and serene. We stayed in a cabin and could walk to the main house for dinner (which was delicious). We watched deer as we ate dinner and then moved to some lovely rocking chairs in front of the house to watch the sunset. The spa was amazing as well--we had a massage and a facial and I can't say enough good things about the staff and services there.
