The location is good.

Cons:

The hotel is over 20 years old and has not undergone any renovations since its opening. Following its merger with Radisson in 2022, there were multiple assurances that renovations would take place; however, no significant updates have occurred. The property shows visible signs of wear and is outdated.

I have reported various damages in my room over the past two years. While some issues were superficially addressed, many remain unresolved without further communication. The furniture and textiles are noticeably worn—this includes carpets in rooms and corridors, wallpapers, towels, sheets, upholstery, curtains, and net curtains—all of which have been in use since 2008. Additional concerns include rough, gray toilet paper, non-functional floor heating in the bathroom, and persistent internet connectivity problems, which occur almost every time I stay since the 2022 merger.

Despite the lack of improvements or renovations, the nightly rates continue to rise, which does not reflect the actual quality of the hotel. Furthermore, while hot water and tea are offered at the front desk, service hours are limited to 11:00 AM–8:00 PM. Ideally, these amenities should be available 24 hours, as the rooms are only equipped with a kettle.

Pros:

The breakfast was definitely one of the highlights of our stay. There was a great variety of options, everything was fresh, and the quality was excellent. It really set us up well for the day. The location is also very good — convenient, well-connected, and within easy reach of the centre. Overall, these two aspects made our experience especially enjoyable.

Cons:

There were a few areas that need improvement. The rooms felt a bit outdated, and small details made a difference — there was no water provided in the room, the fridge was empty, and the bathroom glass door wasn’t working properly. The wardrobe door had impractical design. We also had an issue with the underfloor heating in the bathroom, which unfortunately didn’t work. In addition, the selection of TV channels was rather limited.
The spa and wellness area was average overall and could definitely benefit from some improvements. It was disappointing that bathrobes were charged as an extra. That said, the massage was very good, and the therapist seemed knowledgeable and professional, which we really appreciated.
