Should have had a second key.

A long upstairs walk to my room. Had a lot of bags as well.

The rooms (or the one I was in) need to be upgraded, wear and tear, old and musty smelling

The room was tidy but the entrance etc was a little neglected and needs updating. As in removal of the cracked/broken tiles at the entrances.

It’s not 4 stars, very old facilities. Over priced food

Couldn't sleep due to intermittent noise from external ac unit, which came on for 5 minutes and then went off for 5 minutes all night. Spoke to receptionist at 2am who said they would make a note. Did consider sleeping in the car or in the corridor

The bedding was dirty but they changed it real fast. It could do with an upgrade. The water in the lobby bathrooms was beyond freezing and no warm water to wash hands. It was extremely cold. Some of the things at breakfast could be a bit fresher (nuts/fruits). The rooms we booked had a bath and we got upgraded to another room without a bath.

First Night – Initial Room

The shower enclosure leaked significantly, resulting in a large amount of water escaping onto the bathroom floor. Despite using the provided shower mats and towels, the floor became extremely wet, creating a slip hazard when accessing the toilet.
That evening, I also received multiple bites on my legs shortly after getting into bed. To avoid further bites, I slept on top of the bed for the remainder of the night. The staff were very apologetic and advised that they could move us to a different room for the following night.
Second Night – New Room
Upon entering the new room, we plugged in our laptops to complete some work before heading out. Almost immediately, there was a loud "poof" sound and the power to the entire room failed.
We reported the issue to reception straight away. The receptionist was excellent—professional, helpful, and responsive. Unfortunately, her supervisor was dismissive and made us feel as though our concerns were not being believed.
A maintenance staff member attended the room and confirmed that the hot point near the bed had caused the electrical outage. He advised that the outlet was visibly blackened on the outside, indicating it had failed. He returned later to repair the issue as promised.
Following this incident, we no longer felt safe in the room and raised concerns about whether there were any ongoing health and safety risks associated with the electrical fault. Maintenance dismissed our concerns and we remained in the same room.
Upon going to bed both beds appeared to be previously slept in as the sheets were not smooth and tucked in as per previous night.
I would not recommend this property based on our experience. The venue appears dated and is in need of refurbishment, particularly the guest rooms. While the online photographs present the rooms as modern and inviting, they do not accurately reflect their actual condition. The bathroom tiles were cracked and chipped
