My experience was lovely in the property. The staff were helpful. The breakfast was lovely. This is one of the few hotel

The location, parking and the food

Cons:

I had to request for change because the first room I was given had a bed that was not good enough. It also had a particular smell but this was changed for me to a perfect one

Very under staffed hotel
Pros:

Room was clean and breakfast was good

Cons:

Only 2 staff on, on our arrival and they we're rushed off there feet, ordered food which took an hour felt sorry for them both as one of them was having to cook food as well as serving the bar , really need to sort staff out as they dont deserve good staff like them 2. It was a really busy Friday night and they still managed a smile

Excellent breakfast with a wide range of options. Comfortable beds and clean rooms. Staff were friendly, responsive and professional and tge location waz ideal for easy road access to prinary mitor routes.

Very good until the breakfast incident.
Pros:

Comfortable room that was clean and well looked after.
The book in staff were excellent and friendly.
Food we ate was was more than acceptable.

Cons:

Sadly after a good couple of days our last morning at breakfast the food ran out. There were no sausages, bacon, mushrooms, boiled eggs, cheese or hash browns. There were intermittent refills some of which turned up after breakfast ending at 09:30.
My own breakfast ended up at as one sausage, as that was all that was there, the remains of the scrambled eggs. Most everything else was missing. Eventually some bacon and cheese turned up, after 25 min, so I had a toasted cheese and bacon sandwich. We went down to breakfast at about 08:40. I felt sorry for the people who were obviously going to work. I did report this to the desk who advised they had training issues .

Pros:

Had to go here because there was a exhibition on when I was visiting so no other hotels available.

Cons:

The electric wasn't working in my room which I didn't notice at first because the lights worked. When I realised the TV, kettle and lamp wasn't working I had the guy at reception come and reset the fuse.
TV still didn't work so had to call him again to which he came with a set of batteries for the remote.
STILL didn't work so had to call him again to which he replaced the remote.
After I saw the repair job they did on the floor tiles in the bathroom I just put my blackout sleep mask on at 7.30pm and dropped 3 x Nytols and led there till morning.

Room 110 had constant rumble which vibrates through mattress/pillow, presumably as at end of building by aircon extractor or similar

Pros:

breakfast is good, the room is clean and beautiful , comfortable bed
the only thing I didn't like is noise because my room was located in the mean road , so I didn't sleep well

Great visit , enjoyed my stay and Claudette went out of her way to make make sure everything was done to make it a comfo

Helaas ben ik niet tevreden over ons verblijf in het hotel.

Bij het inchecken ervaarden we weinig privacy bij de receptie. Er stonden twee dronken personen naast ons die niets met het hotel te maken leken te hebben, terwijl de receptioniste ons om persoonlijke gegevens bleef vragen. Dit voelde ongemakkelijk en kwam op mij onprofessioneel over.

Daarnaast hadden we bewust twee eenpersoonsbedden geboekt, maar kregen we aanvankelijk een kamer met één tweepersoonsbed. Hoewel het hotel dit uiteindelijk heeft opgelost door een extra bed in de kamer te plaatsen, was dit bed helaas oncomfortabel, waardoor we niet het comfort kregen dat we hadden verwacht

I felt comfortable throughout my stay. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. The room was attended to ensure I was given a new towel and tea and coffee were restocked. The shower was perfect.
