Gave it another go. And that’s a no from me.
Pros:

So I get some random message saying hey we’re new and better, and as I visit Wellington a couple of times a month decide to give this place another go. Regret! Not only had it not improved it’s got worse!! One life working. Expensive bar. Poor customer service with staff constantly confused. Poor information in the rooms. Promise of sky movies on the tv but no actual sky movies. I travel for work and all I want is a quiet drink at the end of the day and some mindless movie before I sleep. But limited needs aren’t met here. Last stay. This time I promise.

Pros:

We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. Since we arrived early in the morning from Singapore, we had requested an early check-in. The hotel staff were very kind and gladly accommodated our request, which was a huge relief as we were extremely tired after a long flight.

The beds in the room were very comfortable, and we had easy access to all the major landmarks..some within walking distance and others reachable by bus. I would highly recommend this hotel.

the location was very good for us - 6 minutes walk to the bus and train stations.
Pros:

I liked the voucher system they used to reward guests who didnt want clean towels every day

Cons:

we needed 2 singles but got 1 single and 1 queen which took up more space in the smallish room

We really couldn’t have wished for anything more. Easy to find, handy location, friendly staff & we loved the breakfast. There really wasn’t anything to find fault with & the free parking was a bonus!

The location was great. A short walk from the city centre and close to the ferry terminal.

Cons:

When we arrived there was no one on reception. I was standing there a few minutes before anyone came to check me in.
The windows did not close properly and with the wind, howled and whistled all night long.
The walls are very thin and there were people partying and smoking in the room next door. Security did knock on the door and they turned the music off however continued to carry on until 5:30 in the morning.

Convenient hotel for city visit reasonably priced
Pros:

Close to city. Easy walking to wharf area and shops. Roomy bedroom with lounge area. Clean. Had eco-friendly philosophy.

Cons:

Breakfast was expensive and barista coffee was extra for brekky but they didn’t tell us that until we were charged. Most days we went to a convenient cafe nearby for breakfast.

Great stay
Pros:

Great staff that do an amazing job, very friendly and attentive. Room was great, clean and comfortable. We ate in the restaurant, the service was amazing as was the food, delicious. Breakfast was included and I would highly recommend, lots of choice and great coffee. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily stay again.
