Nice hotel with undertrained staff
Pros:

Big and clean room, good breakfast

Cons:

Undertrained staff. Also I’ve had the most strange experience I’ve ever had in a five-stars hotel. I’d call it “prepaid minibar on demand”. My booking contained minibar in the list of services. So I enter the room after a 7 hours drive and want to get a coke from the minibar. But the minibar is empty. I call to the reception and ask. They begin to tell me something about alcohol and Ukrainian legislation. I reply I don’t need alcohol, I need non-alcoholic beverages and snacks. In 20 minutes, a young man and a young lady enter the room. The young man carries a tray with a lot of non-alcoholic stuff and the lady carries a POS terminal. And they expect me to pay for all the staff on the tray in advance (around 50 EUR). In the end I pay cash for only things that I need cause the terminal doesn’t work :)

Perfect Hotel with kind Staff
Pros:

All hotel staff — including the night manager, front office personnel, Sales Manager, and General Manager — were very kind and helpful. It was truly impressive that, despite the stressful wartime situation, all staff remained positive and did their best to assist guests.

Hyatt in Kyiv
Pros:

I've had two longish stays in the past few months at Kyiv Hyatt. Could not be more impressed with the hotel. Not the easiest time to maintain a high standard but the hotel operation is first rate. Excellent staff. The front desk supervisor Rodion Solianyk was most helpful in assisting sorting out travel arrangements.

Great gym open 24 hour. Highly recomend.

Nice stay
Pros:

Location near MoFA and the very nice churches. Nice elegant atmosphere. Standard room is too small for a longer stay, with a very small TV and small wardrobe. No minibar. Comfortable bed, warm inside, nice bathroom with bathtub and shower room. Very good internet. Deluxe room is bigger with big nice TV, but internet is poorer than in standard room. I used the cable for the laptop. Excellent breakfast, amazing barista guy preparing cappuccino in the morning. Still one-two rednecks coming at breakfast in shorts and sweated directly from the gym to the very elegant restaurant did not fit into the landscape where Ambassadors and diplomats met officials at the same breakfast restaurant. Nice bar at ground floor. Swimming pool excellent, Finish sauna good and steam sauna good too. Gym bigger than in other hotels and good devices. Spa is clean but with very high prices, with booking and payment for massage and treatment that must be made two days in advance. Big parking in front and parking underground. Very nice comfortable shelter with beds. You can sleep in there until the rednecks come and start pushing the machine button to grind and make the coffee… Outside no restaurant close to the hotel you have to walk 10 minutes to find a place to eat.

By far the top hotel in all of Kyiv. Attentive staff, superior decor, relaxing rooms, phenomenal fitness center, and great food. A must stay.
