Why stay anywhere else?
Pros:

Very clean, modern, quiet, caring staff, excellent restaurant eRemo.
Stayed at a competitor for my partner’s conference. Had a terrible night of sleep at the other location due to old noisy ac unit blowing cold air on us, attack of mosquitoes and traffic noise from Wine Country Drive. Decided to stay at Spicers again and had wonderful time a few months ago post Xmas.

Beautiful location in the center of the Hunter Valley
Pros:

Staff was really helpful, although they really could have used a valet to help get suitcases up and down from the guesthouses by the pond. The breakfast was comprehensive and very good, especially the fresh fruit. And we really liked the view from our room across the pond, with a bonus kangaroo on the day of our departure!

Cons:

The bathroom was miniscule for a 5-star hotel, cramped for 1 person, never mind 2 trying to get ready in the morning, plus you really needed to throw your towels on the ground in order to get them changed which made a tiny bathroom even more unmanageable. The pool wasn't the cleanest on the day we went and looked like it was due for a refurb.

Beautiful place for short getaway to the Hunter
Pros:

The entire property was stunning. A beautiful place to relax. Restaurant on site was delicious. Highly recommend.

Cons:

Besides the pool being a little cloudy, everything was incredible.

Small boutique hotel near to some of the best vineyards in The Hunter Valley
Pros:

Fantastic guest house located minutes from the vineyards. Plenty of parking for guests. Nice pool on the property although no spa or gym. Good Italian style restaurant and lovely bar with comfy chairs/sofas. We had a garden suite which was very spacious ( bedroom with separate seating area). They do not offer shuttle service to wineries but are helpful in organizing taxis. Staff extremely helpful & friendly. Kangaroos come and play/fight in the gardens in the evenings. Thoroughly recommend

Boutique bougies stay!!
Pros:

No signage to the property - not sure if this was on purpose?

breakfast was delicious - great selection

Room was phenomenal with all the added extra touches - nice shampoo and toiletries, loved the outdoor bench and French doors.

Cons:

There should have been more than two coffee pods, and more milk, more bottled water.
