Pros:

The staff were very helpful prior to our stay in accommodating us in an accessible room suitable for a wheelchair.

Cons:

The room was dirty - chips and leaves etc had been swept under a chair. I had my disabled husband with me and my elderly mother in the room next door. On the morning of checkout I received a call from reception advising me that I was 5 minutes late checking out. Given they were aware I was on my own looking after 2 rooms with people requiring assistance, I thought the phone call was very unwarranted and unprofessional. Some compassion wouldn't go astray.

Happy to stay here again.
Pros:

We have stayed here on many occasions and it has changed very little over those years. This has not deterred us from choosing to stay here. We like the quiet location and the rooms are comfortable and clean.
You can walk to 4 Pines brewery for a nice casual breakfast / dinner.
The cycleway on Hermitage Rd is located close as are many wineries.

Cons:

We were disappointed the Brokenback Bar is not operating now. We always enjoyed the casual eating here when we stayed on previous occasions.
The property is looking a little bit tired but we would still book here again.

Felt it didn’t meet our expectations

Location was good loved seeing the kangaroos

Cons:

Was unclean and smelt like dog, while I understand it’s pet friendly it should be throughly cleaned in between and carpet should be removed! Lots of smaller bugs flying around the room and no openable windows to allow fresh air in! Nothing like the photos
Bed linen was clean!
We prepaid for breakfast and was told when we went for breakfast it wasn’t included multiple times after they checked with reception but after I showed my booking confirmation the provided us with breakfast!
We weren’t expecting 5 star accommodation but this definitely felt like 2 stars.

Restful, peaceful surroundings
Pros:

THe room overlooked the pond. That was nice. It was quiet which is super important.

Cons:

The running water (leaky) cystine from the toilet so every 20 mins it would fill up and that noise wasn't great.
We would have thought you'd fix leaking water - your water bills must be impacted with this leak.

Great option for overnight stay.
Pros:

Location and ease of check in. Hot showers and ample parking.

Cons:

Dated complex, dusty rooms, cobwebs throughout the room and uncomfortable beds. Should be marketed as more a motel complex. Has great potential if investment made to improve the property up to the standard of other Hunter Valley accommodation options.

Cons:

We had someone wanting to spray poison while we were relaxing in our room. We had a cockroach in our bedroom flying around.

A few of the fittings are old and showing signs of wear - would benefit from now shower head and new fridge.

Room was very hot on arrival (and it is autumn) - would have benefited from having the air con turned on prior to our arrival.

Great location but bit run down
Pros:

Loved the location and great shower pressure.

Cons:

No extra blankets were available in the room. Lamps did not work, fridge was not working. Only 1 milk available but 2 people sharing the room. Sofa bed was not pulled out like I was told it would be.
