Amazing experience overall! From the decor and room accommodations to the food and service plus the spa and pool, we thoroughly enjoyed everything about our stay Cowley Manor. Wonderful place to stay in the Cotswolds!
N/A
Beautiful grounds, common area and great food.
Our room was dirty and mouldy, infested with dust mites. The shower was broken and had mouldy silicone. The carpet looked like it hadn’t been cleaned ever. The blinds didn’t block the light. Felt like a 3* hotel at best.
Great location - the park is really nice. Equally the staff is very friendly. The food and drinks are also good.
If the price had been 30% cheaper I would be writing a positive review - however unfortunately that was not the case and I had higher expectations given the prices.
The staff is very friendly but there clearly there are not enough waiters to provide the level of attention you would expect in a hotel with these prices (long waiting times, no glasses at the buffet for breakfast, and just not enough ‘attention’).
Similarly, the spa is OK, but not quite what you expect for similarly priced hotels. I have been in many other SPA hotels in the UK with comparable prices (New Forest, Lucknham Park) and unfortunately this doesn’t compare as well.
Amazing grounds, attentive staff and good food options!
Beautiful interiors, friendly staff, lovely breakfast
Kids in the spa pool at the hours we could use it
It’s a real escape to nature, fine dining and pure relaxation. The manor building overlooks incredible grounds, lakes, and streams. I liked being able to have a lovely walk round, and feel relaxed! Staff were incredible too. Really care about each person having a good experience, I’d wanted to stay for some time after a spa day, and so glad we did! The staff knew it was our anniversary and gave us one of the most insane beautiful rooms I’ve possibly ever stayed in. I’d been having quite a tough year, so it was very appreciated.
Genuinely no complaints. It exceeded expectations.
