Amazing restaurants with excellent fare. Dinner especially good, reasonably priced and some excellent wines. Lovely views and helpful staff
Nothing
Large bedroom and good sized balcony.
Very clean bathroom and good quality towels.
Easy access and parking.
Excellent location.
Breakfast better than expected.
bedroom furniture a bit utilitarian and quite worn.
hotel looked quite tired in places
outside areas messy and untidy particularly the children's area which we could see from our balcony
Staff were all friendly and efficient. Location was great, room was large and comfy and warm with great views. Appreciated the bidet. Light bulb was replaced immediately we requested. Breakfast was good with excellent range of decaffeinated options for hot drinks. Great live yoghurt and good fresh fruit salad.
Hotel is clearly old and tired in places but the staff are so helpful and kind. Fantastic location
Location and facilities
The property would benefit from a general tidy up. Fresh paint, new carpets etc
Staff were courteous. The lady on reception who works PM is a great ambassador for the hotel. She Is clearly a decent and kind human being. If you have not paid enough attention to the map like me, please make the effort to exit the hotel via the back for the terrace which overlooks a lovely sandy beach and with easy access to it. I was pleasantly surprised to have a separate living room area. The Wifi worked well. A large bar area to pass time in as a solo traveler before going to one's room. The bedroom area is more modern than elsewhere within the room. The breakfast food was fine. Free car parking which is a plus.
The hotel reminded me of typical sea side one of 20-3O years ago. The style is traditional. When entering, I wondered why the living room area of my room looked dated. I think it is partly to do with the brown furniture which apparently is coming back into favour. The bathroom could also do with a refresh and without a rainbow shower head from memory. The bedroom lacks USB sockets and the TV in the living room area did not work. The bed mattress was a bit lumpy due to the design of the bed but I slept well enough. There is no AC in the room and I could not find a portable fan but I may be wrong. I found the breakfast room on the second morning to be vey hot. My timing was unfortunate when it came to a selection of hot food as there were quite a few empty containers. There should be a warning sign for the steps on the second floor when you descend a level to my room 204 and others. Unless you have incredibly small feet, your feet will overlap the step area. Apart from the steps which I think are dangerous as it would be easy to fall; the issues I have described are first world problems. I enjoyed my stay and benefited from the good weather.
Location, parking and room size
Poor WIFI in the room and restaurant. Basic breakfast, no cheese, salmon or hams. Extract fan in bathroom not working
The hotel reception bar areas and restaurants were great and drinks a fair price . The balcony was great to have as the view was amazing
The rooms are very dated but clean , could do with modernising.
Staff were friendly and helpful.
Location
Booked as advertised to have ev charging. These didn’t work. Was told to go to sister hotel, I checked before I went these were working. They were not! All I got told multiple times was it’s not their charging points (3rd party)and the company aren’t around to fix these. I do understand this but very unhelpful to just be fobbed off this way, also I was questioned if I ‘even followed the steps correctly’ for charging at the sister hotel which I found very rude. If you need ev charging please check.
Room was freezing at night
Location
Couldn’t physically get in room first day.
TV not working in the room had to be replaced next day.
Day two room not cleaned till 5.00pm ?
Came back on day two room left open after Cleaner, door left ajar.
Reading your description of the room, this did not follow through.
Friday evening on return there was a constant 🐝 Buzzing like an angry bee from the bathroom.
Accessing Buildings Saturday evening could not enter the property both telephone numbers did not work yet three men on Reception just sitting there.
Balcony door would not open without a physical kick and slam to shut.
All in the Hotel is not worth the money paid and charged.
Have used booking.Com many times but I don’t think any more ?
Evening meal was good. Location was nice
The whole hotel is very scruffy and very dated.. The breakfast was terrible. And the bar was very expensive
Location
A little worn in places bathroom and bedroom. Bed also needs new mattress.
Great Seaview. Friendly staff.
Fantastic location right on the beach.
Although I had a really nice room that looked over the beach, I felt the room itself was a bit dated the mattress on the bed was a bit soft. The rooms need upgrading.
Great location
The hotel was ok, a bit tired really though. Rooms of a reasonable standard. More of a three star rather than 4 star appearance. It was the first night of opening for the season I think. The hotel was not really ready. No shower curtain, water ? not run through in the shower for a while. Needs some investment.
