Staff are excellent and very attentive. Especially Monserat who looked after our table for dining service.
Hotel was under some renovation but was very subtle and did not impeded in any way. At.mosphere was very chilled and car parking although limited is very handy.
Room was spotless clean and overlooked the river with a balcony.
Everyone has been super friendly and couldn't do enough for us. Our room is amazing a lovely view over the river.
There is a great vibe in the hotel in general.
I would highly recommend anyone to come and stay here.

Magdalena assisted us well. She’s really good and kind.
All staff members were friendly and attentive however, Magdalena service was top tier.

Nothing
On arrival we were allocated a room on the road side of the hotel. The room itself was spacious and well-designed, with plenty of storage, and the large bed comfortable. However, there was no getting away from the excessive traffic noise from the busy road directly outside, which was obvious at all times of the day and night as the road is a main route into and out of the city centre. Even with earplugs we could not sleep and we think we got about an hour's sleep each. We spoke to reception the next morning and were moved to an identical room on the other side of the building - being told that "we won't charge you extra".... We slept better in the quieter room the next night but the damage was done and we were knackered.
Since we left the hotel management have responded to our message to them to say that they are aware of the noise issue on that side of the building and try not to use those rooms unless the hotel is full. We don't think this was acceptable because we paid the same as for a quiet room - over €200 per night - for a room no-one could reasonably sleep in. This is really unacceptable. Without sound-proofing the rooms the hotel should not be using them and asking for the same nightly rate.
The staff are the highlight of the accomodation, super friendly and helpful especially as a solo traveller. The rooms were large and clean, beds were comfy. In room service was great!
It was my first time so I wasn't sure where to book, it did seem like it was a little out of town but you get what you pay for. Parking was free and easy to get in and out of.
Went for their newly launched afternoon tea at the weekend. Absolutely amazing. Staff were so attentive to us. Menu was beautiful. We do afternoon teas regularly around the country and have to say that was up there with the best. The sandwiches were amazing, the egg sandwiches were a personal favourite! There was plenty of everything and no problem if we wanted anything extra. Scones were fabulous, served with fresh cream and jam. Desserts were out of this world. Flavoured teas were brought to us in a box and left to us throughout. It was very relaxing, did not feel rushed and even enjoyed a glass or two of prosecco! Well done all - 10 out of 10.
Everything. Big comfortable room. Great location.
No complaints
I went to the Absolute Hotel on Sunday with my friends to celebrate a friends birthday. It really was fabulous. They only recently started doing afternoon tea at the hotel and I have to say it was so lovely. Very relaxing. You’re not rushed. The staff are so friendly and helpfully. The selection of sandwiches was so good there was egg, beef and horseradish and smoked salmon, And they were so delicious. I’m coeliac and my tea was served separately and the chef kindly made a pana cotta with strawberry, chocolate orange moose, macarons and the nicest chocolate sponge cakes. We were given a box of different tea to choose from and it was left with us for the length of the tea. The staff really are so attentive. I really can’t recommend it enough.
Well located, easy walking distance to most historical sites in Limerick. Parking good. Staff very welcoming and helpful. Bedroom very generous size. Breakfast and dinner excellent. All staff professional, and very satisfying customer satisfaction orientation.
