Pros:

The Roseate was just what we needed for a stop over in Reading but it exceeded our expectations, we wished we could stay longer.

Great hotel great rooms , breakfast was not great because it’s a buffet breakfast

Overall good. The meal in the Reading Room was wonderful.
Pros:

Liked it’s convenience to the centre of Reading and it was a nice building.
The room could have benefitted from having a folding luggage stand in it.

Cons:

When I was given a slot to use the sauna and the steam room, I was not given instructions how to use the steam room and then someone knocked on the door and said I had to leave right away because people were waiting. I had only been there 20 mins and felt it was not pleasant to be told to go so urgently.

Pros:

Location was very good

Cons:

Toilet roll holder was hanging off and needed tlc and was not happy when tried charging for putting a bed for my daughter in the room.

Great location, substandard Maintenance, Breakfast was below par, and unclean

The entrance to the room area had a leak and the maintenance that was carried out had not been complete the ceiling was hanging down the walls had mould it was a disgrace and the smell....!!!!! - we complained at the time and was told that someone would be in touch but nothing to this day - and also i don't know what the hotel was being used for but to have several occupants in the lobby in pyjamas in the middle of the day, was very odd ......!!!!!
