Baffled - Extremely Disappointed
Pros:

Front desk Rep, Ali, did not honor my reservation. I told him that I booked 2 double beds and received a confirmation documenting that. He also tried to tell me that if he changed my room to 2 double beds from a single it would cost more. I said absolutely not and he hung up on me. I called back and I told him that he had to honor my reservation per what my original charges were for this reservation. I told him I could email him the confirmation email. He would not give me an email address. He said he couldn't change it, told me to call Management and he hung up on me again.
Called Choice, spoke with Karen. She placed a call to the front desk, spoke with Ali, and he told her that he didn't have any rooms. She also said that there was nothing she could do and transferred me to customer relations dept

Choice Customer Relations Dept 888-770-6800
Karen transferred me to this department. Spoke with Mika and she said that the hotel changed the reservation to a King size bed. I told her that they didn't even honor that. They downgraded the reservation to a single bed. Mika said nothing could be done until I check out of the hotel. I have to call back. Unbelievable.

3/18/26 2:30 Called hotel to speak with a Manager. The young lady said they were in a meeting to call back in an hour. 4:05 called back and the gentleman said he was gone for the day: Camerule. He said he will be in tomorrow until 3:00.
3/20/26 Called 3:53/3:54 no answer at front desk.
Called spoke with Joe, he transferred me to Christine, Supervisor. She confirmed that the property changed the reservation on 3/15 to King Size bed. They also changed the name on the reservation. I requested a full refund. She said she would start a case ID to resolve this issue. She said she could not guarantee my money back. The hotel must do that. They will reach out to the hotel. She offered me 24,000 points. I asked if she could grant free stay at Country Inn and Suites 3/22-3/25. She said I would have to use my points. I asked how many points required at this hotel to get all 3 nights free. She said 15000 per night. I told her I needed total refund. Case ID# 13350499. Called Sleep Inn and Suites 4:53. Spoke with Manager, who would not give me his name and he hung me. Called back and spoke with the manager again and he was extremely rude, dismissive and condescending. Called Choice back and spoke with Leo. Transferred to Leo in Guest Experience. Requested a supervisor. Spoke with Jim supervisor. He also offered me 24,000. He was dismissive and rude. Called Corporate Office 5:24, spoke with Maria. Sleep Inn and Suites is owned by Choice yet Maria says there is nothing she can do. The hotel has to act. I expressed that I have not been able to get the rude staff at this hotel to communicate with me at all.

Terrible
Pros:

Location

Cons:

Easiest way is to list our issues. And please keep in mind my husband and I aren’t complainers. After my first issue we were like “well it’s just a place for the night, it’ll serve its purpose”… but then it just didn’t stop.

1. Line in the middle of the TV.
2. Shower fixture was broken off.
3. Shower head was dirty.
4. Shower water turned cold within minutes of first shower.
5. The shower pulsated from the head and we could not change it.
6. Hair dryer (which I normally never use but forgot mine) it was dirty and sticky.
7. Scratches like an animals all over headboard.
8. Bed was EXTREMELY uncomfortable for both of us. We could barely stand to walk around Baltimore the next day.
9. Hair in the microwave.
10. Children’s drawings in all of the drawers, which wasn’t the problem. It was the disturbing messages that were written along with the drawings “I know who you are” “Why am I here?”
11. Lastly - by the time we got home my husband was covered in welts and we went to the urgent care and they said bed bugs.

I contacted booking.com, they told me to give it 48 hours for them to hear back from the property. They got back to me saying they hadn’t heard back and suggested I call. I did. The man told me he couldn’t do anything for me and to call today to speak to manager. I have called 6 times throughout the day today and it INSTANTLY goes to a voicemail saying no one’s available. So now I’m guessing I’m blocked.

It won’t let me upload all the photos I have.

Pros:

Breakfast was okay but you guys needs more varieties. Like bacon and fried eggs not only boiled eggs. Coffee and waffles was very good.

Cons:

There was a lots of food flies in the room and I called downstairs the guy said that someone will come on Sunday and no one shown up to spray..The tub was not properly cleaned and the toilet sit is making a loud noise when you sitting on it to use. The toilet sit was shaking.

It was quiet, comfortable. A few touch-ups would have made a world of difference.
Pros:

The room size and the beds were nice, as was the decor of the room.

Cons:

The carpeted halls made it a bit difficult to roll my wheelchair on bc the carpet was older, worn and stretched so it would bunch up a bit in places.
The bathtub had rust in it, and the phone system did not work. I tried to call the front desk from the room, they couldn’t hear me. I tried to call the front desk with my cell phone and it would ring 2x and disconnect. When I tried to tell the front desk clerk and got an “ok”. No apology, no we will look into it, nothing. Just ok.
The beds are too high, particularly for a handicapped person. Had a very difficult time getting in the bed.
Also, a “full” breakfast was advertised but it was watered down juice, make your own waffles, white bread toast and cold boiled eggs. Seriously?

Cons:

This place was disgusting. Bugs caked on the curtains, the front lobby smelled of chemicals, elevator smelled like pee, hallways smelled like febreezed over cigarette smoke.

The carpets and walls were smudged in something gross.

I didn't feel safe here and checked out immediately after checking in.

THE WORSE PLACE IN MARYLAND TO STAY!!!!!
Pros:

I didn't like anything about it. This was the absolute worse place to ever sray. The staff is extremely rude and racist. The rooms have leaks in the ac units which causes the carpets to be wet mold and mildew. My stay ended with me calling the board of health. I would not recommend this place to a dog or my worse enemy. In my opinion it needs to be re-staffed after it's been completely remodeled.

Cons:

I HATED IT!!!
