I stayed for two nights, both nights were disturbed by a water leak caused by a rain storm, the leak sounded like running water running down a channel between the rooms and it was loud enough to wake me and impossible to sleep through.
I realise that nothing can be done about weather but this was like a shower left running inside the room.
When I went down to reception they blamed it on the sky pool which is the other end of the hotel.
At 2am I didn’t want an argument so I left it at that until I checked out when the receptionist apologised.
I would stay there again but definitely in a different room.

Das einzige was uns nicht gefallen hat war, dass es keine Klobürsten im gesamten Hotelbereich gab und die etwas eingeschränkte Privatsphäre bei der Toilettennutzung im Hotelzimmer an sich.

Breakfast is a bit grim. The food quality generally was not great, the ‘hot’ food was cold. The coffee is really bad and the machine would eventually give up towards peak times. I felt for the staff in the breakfast room as they are clearly understaffed and overworked. I was very glad I wasn’t half board!

Our Junior Suite was spacious and had a lovely view, but comfort was poor. The mattresses were distorted, the pillows extremely flat, and we slept badly throughout the stay. The decorative pillows had a strange smell, the bed sheets had stains, and the duvet cover was fitted oddly, so it moved aside during the night and left the inner duvet exposed.

The bathroom layout was also impractical. The toilet and shower were only semi-enclosed with frosted glass panels that did not reach the ceiling, which reduced privacy, and having the sink directly in the room made the setup feel unusual and uncomfortable.

The room had an overall strange smell throughout the stay. At one point it became worse; after we reported it, reception reacted promptly and maintenance explained that the ventilation had been switched off the day before, which had caused bad odours to build up. We appreciated the quick reaction, but overall the room never felt fully fresh.

Although housekeeping came daily, the cleaning was quite basic rather than thorough. Some visible dust and dirt suggested that certain areas had not been properly cleaned for longer than just one day.

Another disappointment was the arrangement for our child. Although the reservation had clearly been made for 2 adults and 1 child, a few days before arrival we were told we had to pay an extra nightly fee for the child. We accepted this because we were told an extra foldable bed would be provided. In reality, this was a fold-out armchair/sofa bed placed very close to the floor, and it was not comfortable at all. It also did not look particularly clean.

Breakfast was acceptable overall, but not well handled for a celiac guest. Every morning I had to wait around 15 minutes or more for gluten-free bread, and once it arrived so hard that it was impossible to eat. I reported this to reception and they apologised, which I appreciated.

Dinner, however, was very poor.

Ich möchte mich hiermit über das Abendbuffet in Ihrem Haus beschweren.

Besonders irritierend und für mich äußerst unangenehm war, dass ein vollständig gebackenes Babyschwein mit Kopf, Ohren und Augen präsentiert wurde. Dieser Anblick hat bei mir sofort Übelkeit ausgelöst, sodass ich an diesem Abend nichts mehr essen konnte.

Ich empfinde es als sehr befremdlich und nicht zeitgemäß, ein derartiges Gericht anzubieten. Für mich passt dies nicht zu den Erwartungen an ein modernes Hotel.

Aus diesem Grund werde ich künftig von weiteren Aufenthalten in Ihrem Haus absehen.

Be aware that the bathroom is not separated by a wall from the main room, toilet and shower just have thin glass doors, so almost everything is seen and heard from the room. Also they don’t have amenities, such as cotton pads, showers caps or ear sticks.

Das Gym ein Zumutung - viel zu klein und sehr schlechte, Billig-Geräte. Es standen auch keine Desinfektionsmittel zur Verfügung - Hygiene!
Betten zu hart!
Das Frühstück war Auswahlreich, aber die Qualität (v.a. Kaffee!) schlicht ungenügend... (Früchte, Speck, Salami, Schinken, Käse usw. billigste Sorte, teilw. ungeniessbar!). Massenabfertigung. Frühstück-Saal erinnert an Krankenhaus-Areal, extrem gross und lieblos eingerichtet, keine Pflanzen - null Ferien-Feeling!
