Very nice and accommodating service for the emergent stay we had while my husband was in the hospital. Thank you so much!
Great atmosphere and concierge was helpful with introduction to building and how parking worked.
We liked everything about the property
My wife and I had a wonderful time here - the room was clean, the staff was exceptional, and the accessibility was super easy. However, what is most impressive is that we purchased an add-on for the room (hot chocolate upon arrival) and in the mix of the busy day it was forgotten. Less than I week later we received a box from the Sheraton with hot chocolate mix, home-made cookies, candy, and a hand-written card. They went above and beyond customer service - and I am still in shock with their thoughtfulness for someone like myself. Thank you!!!
I love being able to walk to the different stores and restaurants
nothing
We stayed here recently when in town for a wedding. We normally stay down by the lake, this place offered a group rate with the wedding. Really wish we stuck to what we knew!
The hotel is fairly modern / updated which was nice and our room was nice but (1) the door didn’t lock properly and the maintenance guys didn’t resolve the issue when they came and (2) it is in an area of Duluth that had a tougher crowd than you see in the more touristy areas by the lake. Our room even had a sign by the door reminding you to use both the deadbolt and the slider when in the room.
Parking is in a ramp connected to the hotel; it was free for us but the front desk warned that is changing soon and likely to have a parking fee.
If this was our first impression of Duluth, we may not have wanted to go back to the area, honestly…
Wonderful staff! Clean room and awesome club lounge.
Great host. Clean. Safe. Great coffee! Food excellent.
Had to leave. Wanted to stay longer
Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Room was okay. Was hoping for a better view as the hotel didn’t seem busy. Was put in a room overlooking the parking ramp.
Clean room, comfortable bed, nice lobby bar
TV Remote control was not working(tv turning on & off on its own) not able to change Channels, tv screen black and still hear it.
Dirty floor, dirty toilet, bathroom door knob broken fell on floor when closing the door.
Friendly and accommodating staff
After find this in my room, instead of calling The Sheraton Hotel, I'd call it The poor Motel in the old town by the corner.
What a sad situation, what an unpleasant experience.
And I'm not gonna say thank you for this.
Room #318
I have stayed at this location before and it was never great, but this last time was the worst. The hotel front desk is very unhelpful. I asked for extra towels to be brought to my room one evening around 10:30pm, and she looked at me annoyed and asked how early do you need them? I said well I need them for my morning shower so anytime before 6:30am I suppose. She informed me that housekeeping doesn't come in until 11am. I walked away. Another night, I asked the front desk if there was a microwave for guests to use since there aren't any in the rooms. I was informed that I could rent one for my room for $5/night! What? I literally laughed and said that is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard from a hotel. The restaurant for breakfast was always extremely slow, and the wait staff was unfriendly. It took at about 45 minutes for some eggs and toast and they were not busy. The table next to me said they have been waiting longer than that and everyone in the restaurant was clearly upset. The parking situation is horrible! I knew that from previous stays, but that and all the rest this trip was just to much. I will never be back.
We stayed at this hotel 2 nights as pre-cruise. The hotel is in a decent location, near restaurants and lake walk. The decor is nice, the room was fine (photos taken after we’d been in the room, bed was perfectly neat upon arrival)
What I wasn’t pleased with was location of my room. It was right off the elevator, loud people streaming up from the hotel bar late, standing talking in front of elevator, yelling down the hall, some people are ignorant, what can you do. But add to that a horribly loud ice machine echoing down the hall. If I return to this hotel I’d make sure to not be on that side of the building.
Not flexible.
Great facility. Comfortable rooms, great staff, excellent location!
