Pros:

Ca. 300 Meter von der Außenalster entfernt. Zentrale Lage in St. Georg, kostenlose Parkplätze in der Umgebung vorhanden. Das Frühstücksbuffett war umwerfend gut. LIDL direkt gegenüber.

Schönes Hotel für einen Städtetrip nach Hamburg
Pros:

Großes Zimmer mit Klimaanlage, bequeme Betten, Straßenlärm von draußen nur ganz gering wahrnehmbar, sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter:innen an der Rezeption.

Cons:

Haben das Hotel wegen der Nähe zum Hauptbahnhof gewählt, allerdings ist der Weg zum Hotel zu Fuß über die Straße Steindamm oder vorbei am Hansaplatz weniger schön, viele Obdachlose, Drogenkriminalität, etc.

Hotel very nice. Location is HORRIBLE!
Pros:

The bed in the hotel room was comfterable. There were additional chairs. We were traveling with our kids. The couch was turned into a 2nd bed. So that took up most of the space. There was a bit of space with shelves to unpack our clothing so we didn't have to live out of our sutecases. We had the breakfest almost every morning. It was very good. The hotel gave each of the boys a little welcome gift. The boys loved it.

Cons:

Where this hotel was located was right next to the main trainstation. To get to the main trainstation you needed to walk though a very rough neighborhood. There were people using drugs. Prositutes selling themselves for sex. There were people passed out on the side of the road. It smelt very badley. One day I saw feces on the sidewalk we were walking down, not dog poop. It was not a plesent to walk down with our little boys. No AC in the hotel. Very hot in our room. It was hard to sleep. With the windows open there was constant sirens. Or people driving crazy and lots of yelling.

Några dagar i Hamburg
Pros:

Frukosten var klart godkänd. Sköna sängar i rummen. Hjälpsam personal. Livsmedelsaffär tvärs över gatan. Nära till
St Georg:s torg, där det fanns uteserveringar. Även nära till järnvägsstationen.

Cons:

Som sagt ett bra hotell, men i fel område, St Georg. Gick man stora gatan, Steindamm, mot stationen kändes det som man gick i Mellan Östern, med affärer mm. Här skall man helst inte gå sena kvällar. Knarkare o prostituerade syntes. Kommer inte att ta detta hotell om jag ev kommer tillbaka till Hamburg.

Cons:

Die Dusche war in der Badewanne. Meine Frau und ich sind schwerbehindert, so konnten wir die Dusche nicht Benutzen.

Der Service der Bar...man wurde wenn man draußen saß vom Personal garnicht oder zu spät wargenommen.um nachzubestellen dauerte es zu lang.
