Wenn wieder ein Hamburg-Besuch ansteht, dann wieder das Hotel Arcotel Rubin!
Pros:

Zentrale Lage, U-Bahn und Bus in unmittelbarer Nähe, trotz Steindamm ruhige Lage, Hotel sauber, Personal sehr freundlich, Zimmer hell und groß und sauber, Frühstücksbüffet vielseitig.

Das Hotel ist gut!
Pros:

Tolles Frühstück mit sehr vielen Extras

Cons:

Die Umgebung ist sehr bedrohlich.
Abends war es ein Spießrutenlauf. Komische zum Teil aggressive Ausländer.

Easy to find, close to hauptbahnhof and the U bahn. They kindly hold your luggage for free and the room was really quiet.

Pros:

Sehr höflicher Empfang! Mitten in der Stadt und trotzdem war es sehr ruhig im Zimmer. Die Betten waren sehr bequem!

Cons:

Leider war Kaffee beim Frühstück Mangelware. 3 Kaffeeautomaten, wovon keiner funktionierte

Unter dem Strich aber alles ok mit dem Hotel.
Pros:

Die Suite ist schön groß und gut geschnitten. Preisleistung ist gut. Der Kiez ist etwas laut und die Klimaanlage etwas zu leistungsschwach. Das könnte im Sommer aber auch anders sein. Wir haben die Größe sehr genossen und fanden das Zimmer schön. Zwei WCs und eine getrennte Dusche sind großartige für die morgendlichen Routinen.

Cons:

Wir fanden es nicht gut, dass im Zimmer die Reinigung auf unsere Beauftragung kommuniziert wurde und dann in unserer Abwesenheit doch jemand kam. Hätten wir das gewollt, hätten wir pers. Gegenstände wie Schlafkleidung und Hygieneartikel wie Zahnschiene vorher dem Zugriff entnommen. Das fanden wir nicht sehr cool und hat uns sehr gestört. Auch wollten wir, dass die Sonne das Zimmer nicht weiter erwärmt und hatten Fenster und Vorhänge geschlossen. Diese fanden wir dann geöffnet vor und überall brannte das Licht. Als wir die Inhalte der Rezeption zu Kenntnis brachten, gab man uns Recht und empfand dies auch als „ist nicht gut gelaufen“ – eine Frage wie „wie können wir das wieder gut machen“ kam nicht. Stattdessen wurden wir belehrt, dass mit dem „nicht Betreten-Schild“ das nicht passiert wurde. Schade.
