All good
Location was beautiful
Room furnishings need updating, but room was clean and comfortable
The rooms were great with a door leading out to a little paved patio were you could sit & watch the wildlife while having a cuppa. Easy access to The Hunter Valley Gardens. Great food.
Bar, bistro same place
Plenty parking
Friendly check in at another location, spacious, comfortable and clean room with a nice outside seating area. Parking allocated outside the room was handy. Swimming pool was nice and we had a good dinner in the pub. Facilities in the room were good.
We had a difficulty but the hotel sorted it out quickly and to our satisfaction
Value for money for the room, spacious and located centrally to fit our plans for the day. We completed an excellent wine tour on the day prior to our check in and Harrigan's was the ideal location to finish the day.
The food at the Bistro/Bar was not good value for money and found it to be bland and without flavour. I had the pot pie with mash, and it definitely lacked seasoning and the mash potato was bland. Other family members had the chicken schnitzel, which was thin, small and appeared to be frozen packet variety. I would suggest that the marketing/catering team attend the Royal Hotel in Muswellbrook and try their chicken schnitzel/parmy to see value for money and quality. I have no issue with paying premium prices if the quality of the meal is good (not looking for the largest size meal). Our discussion post meal was that we would recommend to family and friends to use the accommodation at Harringans but to dine elsewhere.
The location of the check in desk was difficult to find with no clear/poor signage and was not ideal given we were returning from a wine tour; so having to drive from the Harrigans car park to the check in at Mecure as you can understand creates issues/concerns. An online check in with digital access card would be a great innovation to resolve this issue.
Needs a little TLC
Centrally located. Comfy bed and clean facilities.
Didn’t have hand soap the entire time. Shampoo in the shower was empty too.
The location
Beds to soft Rooms need a facelift. Not tea for tea drinkers
Location is great.
Having the pub made it easy for meals, drinks and live music.
The room felt outdated.
Location
Room was filthy
Air conditioner didn't work
Bathroom had not been cleaned.
Good level of facilities
Very noisy on the weekends
Great location within Harrigan’s complex and our room overlooked vineyards. Bed was very comfortable, great blackout curtains, loads of channels on TV & good sized fridge for all our local cheese purchases. Overall a good value, well-priced room for the area, but fixtures/fittings were tired.
There was a mildew smell coming from the bathroom and although the room was clean, the bathroom had got to the stage of needing a Reno. The patio furniture was also old/worn/dated which was a shame as we had a nice view.
So close to meals and pub great location.
The rooms were a bit in need of renovation.
