Pros:

Huone oli siisti, huonesiivous toimi hyvin, hotellin sijainti oli hyvä. Ylimmän kerroksen baarissa oli hienot näkymät ja cocktailit olivat ihania vaikkakin vähän hintavamman puoleisia.

Vuode oli melko kova, mikä sopi meille. Jos kaipaa pehmeäämpää vuodetta, ilmeisesti pyytämällä olisi saanut ylimääräisen petauspatjan.

Cons:

Hotellikokemus ei vastannut sitä mitä tämän tasoiselta hotellilta odottaisi. Varasin huoneen valitsemalla varaustyypin, jossa huone maksetaan heti eikä sitä voi perua. Heti varauksen tehtyäni sain Swissotelilta sähköpostin, jossa ilmoitettiin, että kylpylän käyttö ei kuulu hintaan koska varaus oli tehty kolmannen osapuolen kautta ja että kannattaa tarkistaa varausehdoista mitä varaukseen sisältyy ettei aiheuta hankaluuksia vastaanotossa. Siis mitä? Hotellin nettisivujen mukaan kylpylän käyttö olisi maksanut 33 e/kerta, joten jäi sitten väliin. No niin. Paria päivää ennen majoitusta tuli toinen sähköposti, jossa tarjottiin upgreidauksia, aikainen check-in olisi maksanut 50 e! Yleensä hotelleissa on huoneen saanut aikaisemmin jos niitä on ollut tarjolla, 50 e on jo melkoista ryöväystä. Hotellin aulassa oli sateenvarjoja vuokrattavana kolmella eurolla. Lisää rahastusta! Kaikissa hotelleissa, missä on tullut äkillinen sateenvarjon tarve, olen saanut ihan ilmaiseksi respasta pyytämällä sateenvarjon lainaksi. Jotenkin odottaisi että tämän tasoisessa ja tämän hintaluokan hotellissa ei jokaisesta ylimääräisestä tarpeen täyttämisestä rahastettaisi erikseen, laatuhotellin konseptiin kuuluisi minusta palveluhalukkuus ennemmin kuin näkyvä rahastaminen kaikesta.

Lisäksi täytyy todeta, että sisäilmaongelmista oireilevien kannattaa välttää hotellia tai ainakin pitää ilmastointi pois päältä. Sain pahat hengitytieoireet, jotka yhdistin nimenomaan ilmastointiin. Ja koska kyse on ilmastoinnista, ei esim huoneen vaihtaminen olisi auttanut, koska samojen putkien kautta se ilma puhaltaa muihinkin huoneisiin.


Tämä oli ensimmäinen kerta tässä hotellissa ja jäi kyllä viimeiseksi.

Pros:

Sehr schönes und sauberes Hotel, genau wie erwartet. Das Zimmer entsprach vollständig den Bildern. Etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig war für uns die nicht ganz blickdichte Badtür.
Der Blick aus dem Zimmer Richtung Hafen und Altstadt war sehr schön; die umliegenden Hochhäuser empfanden wir nicht als störend. Die Möbel haben zwar schon ein paar Gäste erlebt, beeinträchtigten den Aufenthalt aber keineswegs.
Die Lage ist optimal – vieles ist gut zu Fuß erreichbar und eine Straßenbahn hält in der Nähe. Das Frühstück war sehr gut und reichhaltig, der Service im Frühstücksraum ausgesprochen zuvorkommend.

Cons:

Lediglich an der Rezeption hätten wir uns eine etwas gastfreundlichere Atmosphäre gewünscht. Der Check‑in und Check‑out wirkten eher wie in einem Businesshotel, wo Abläufe schnell abgearbeitet werden. Die Klimaanlage war für mich etwas zu laut und gab auch im ausgeschalteten Zustand gelegentlich ein Geräusch von sich. Das trat nicht dauerhaft auf, war aber für mich - mit leichten Schlaf - zeitweise störend.

Pros:

Brokastis bija lieliskas, ar skatu uz pilsētu no 8.stāva. Ļoti atsaucīgs personāls. Ļoti laba gultas veļa, matracis. Arī papildus pusaudžu gultai bija lielisks matracis. Numuriņš ļoti tīrs. 11. stāvā ļoti jauks baseins un sauna.

Ok hotel for one night, a little bit far away from the buzz
Pros:

It’s still nice hotel, although it’s not brand new. Rooms are good size, breakfast is ok. Bar in the upper floor is still nice.

Cons:

Spa is not included anymore (why not?), you got one cup of coffee at a time, so annoying to ask more and nobody never served it automatically, you needed to ask. Horrible construction site close by, hard to walk to city centre/old town.

Plenty value for the money
Pros:

Wonderful view over the harbour direction, fast elevators and very nice and helpfull staff.

Cons:

Exact instructions related to parking when coming with a car. A map in the hotel website would be helpful.
