Urbana Sathorn Hotel

Love the room and the area. Very convenient to all we needed. Breakfast very good. Enjoyed the gym and love the pool.
Second time here.
Staff could use some improvement in courtesy to the customers.

Large rooms & good location.
Rooms at the front can be noisey due to traffic on busy Sathorn Rd

Good nearby dining options. Close proximity to sightseeing. Only negative was the shower head didnt stay in its holder and took a while to get hot water.

Rooms were very nice. Pool very nice as well as breakfast. Also liked the exercise facilities but would have been nice if basketball or ping pong or badminton equipment provided for sport center.

The carpet had stains on it and the apartment was very worn and needs upgrading. The shower in the main bathroom had a screw sticking out holding the handle on.
The hot water took 5 minutes to come through, lights not working and could turn some off in the kitchen. No cleaning utensils to clean up in the kitchen.

Friendly staff and helpful, the room need some maintenance, not enough of kitchenware, iron board was broken,

Avoid. Noisiest rooms in Sathorn, aging property with disconnected and uninterested staff. So many other options around here are much better.

If you want a quiet plus not going out of the hotel stay, it might be good. Hotel breakfast is average for me.

The hotel staffs were excellent be it at the door, receptionist, room service and F&B. Thumb up!

It is 1.5km away from Terminal 21 Asoke via cab. There is 2 walkable restaurant on the left side of the hotel, quite pricey and wasnt that fantastic despite 5* reviews. Hotel room doesnt provide dish washing liquid, dishes cloth and scissors

My girst impression of the property was formed at check-in where it was pretty clear that the staff are over worked and under pressure. While courteous they were quite short. Its odd thst they walk away from the desk with the passport when there is ample technology available to enable scanning at their work station.


Rooms are spacious though the breakages list with associated replacement costs s typical of a low end facility. It left a bad taste in my mouth. There was mo television in the bedroom and the washing machine leaked when used.

My key card did not work at least half the time which required me to return from a high floor back down to the reception. Might be time to upgrade this equipment as it seemed to be causing difgiculties gor a number of guests.

The price for this hotel attracted me to stay but in the end was not sufficient to counter balance the experience. It wouldnt take alot to turn Urbana into a truly great experience. It would take alot of convincing for me to stay again in the future. And thats a pity as it has serious potential.

We stayed here for four nights and while the positive aspects certainly outweigh the negative, there were some flaws that diminished the good impression a bit.

The suite was huge, with a very spacious main room and kitchen area (including a microwave and stovetop) and a generous bedroom. The balcony offered a fantastic view over the pool and the city. Everything was clean, the AC worked without issues, and there was enough storage space. Also, the staff was friendly and helpful (both in person as well as in written contact, and we felt very welcome right from the start.

The bathroom was on the smaller side, so were the baththub and shower. The more pressing issue was, however, the lack of temperature control in the shower, which tended to become frustrating. The room was also dark. Even with all lights switched on, it had a dim feel to it whenever we couldn't rely on sunlight lightening it up.

A nitpick was the lift. On multiple occasions, we met other people who got frustrated when it would take several tries to activate it using the room card, and while it always worked in the end, we never figured out how to reliably do it.

It was also somewhat disappointing to see the TV (one in the main room and one in the bedroom) only offered a few linear TV channels, and with bad reception. It's not that important IMO, but nowadays I don't think it's too much to expect hotels of this class to offer streaming services, Youtube or the likes.

I'd still recommend the hotel, but the issues, while relatively minor by themselves, accumulated and gave the impression that the hotel puts more emphasis on giving a relatively high-class impression on the outside, but lacks once you see below the surface, which is a problem considering the price level.

The hotel room was generally ok and comfy, spacious. Main disappointment was the blocked toilet bowl in master room,had to call the facilities guy after use to clear blockage. We used laundry service only once for attires of 4 pax , and was totally shocked with the charges wch costed half of the room price. Was told it's due to tax, service chargers... Ridiculous...

Great pool, incredible breakfast and very friendly staff

This hotel is amazing.Most beautifull view of Bangkok.The swimming pool is breathtaking.Everybody who works in the hotel welcomes you with the biggest smile ever.I come back 100%.PS food is delicious.Thank you so much for your hospitality.
