Good experience
Pros:

Although some staff struggled to communicate in English properly ,their eager to support was amazing. I remember when i was not able to get a quick Tax to the airport Kylie and her colleague from the reception supported me promptly although it was raining .

Very nice hotel, great staff, convenient location
Pros:

I booked one night for my elderly parents who were in Wuhan by themselves for personal paperwork. The staff were very friendly and attentive. A manager guided my parents to their room and carefully explained the services. The facilities were very modern and comfy. The included Genius breakfast was excellent and had a great variety of items. We were very happy with the experience and grateful to the staff for their attention. I highly recommend this hotel.

Nice and comfortable hotel, but the first night was ruined by sigarete smoke stunk in the room.
Pros:

Very spacious room, very well equipped, clean, nice view over the lake, friendly staff at the reception.

Cons:

Unfortunate (and unacceptable) that anyone in this hotel is allowed to smoke anywhere he or she wishes, my room was full of sigarete smoke stunk. At reception people walk freely while smoking. Corridors are virtually always full with smoke stinking. This implies that the smoke detectors throughout the hotel are disabled which can become dangerous (and is against the law).

Old and not renovated hotel

Cons:

The swimming pool and Gym closed for renovation for a long time. I had to find some private gym across the street and pay extra money because of that. Breakfast was discussed. Old food, cold sausages and Bacon and not much for choice. The big roof fans under us were extremely loud and windows were not completely soundproof, so we heard them all day. The rooms were very old and the furniture was from 80's. And on the carpet were blood little spots.

I highly recommend this luxurious, but good value establishment
Pros:

The building itself is very grand and impressive, it also has spectacular views of north west lake (Xi Bei Hu - I think!). The room has everything you could ask for, including a bathtub big enough for me (190cm) to relax in. The staff were fantastic and I would especially like to thank Tina for helping me numerous times with translation and local knowledge.
