Harbour House

4th stay and it continues to impress.

Our stay at Harbour House was truly exceptional. Our suite was lovely, the location was perfect..right at the Marina and so close to the shopping strip. The staff was exceptional...also evidence that the management team places customer service a priority. I have had the pleasure to stay at a lot of lovely hotels but Harbour House like cream, rose to the top of my list. Even Our Bichon, Gracie, was made to feel very welcome. There was a wine tasting in the beautiful, comfy lobby and folks staying at Harbour House gathered. Chatting and getting to know each other. The comfortable socializing over some glasses of wine. I would highly recommend Harbour House

I am not good with names, but I really have to say that all of the staff was just fantastic. They were all very friendly, and warm, knowledgeable and delightful

This was our 4th visit to Harbour House. When visiting Niagara on the Lake it is our go to reservation when available
We love the quiet, welcoming atmosphere. Our room was very comfortable with a cozy fireplace on the cold winter weekend. A 12 min walk to the Main Street is always enjoyable. Breakfast covers all dietary needs and Brenda is very happy to share her recipes.

We stayed just one night at Christmas Eve 2025 as a family of three adults in two rooms. The hotel is a cosy place with beautiful and comfortable rooms and interesting atmosphere. In addition to the hotel by itself, their wine tasting event every afternoon and delicious continental breakfast that are included in the price, are worth mentioning. I recommend it to someone that likes smaller places with unique character.

The rooms were very clean and attractive. The breakfast staff was very nice and the cleaning people were very nice also. The wine and cheese happy hour was good. Could’ve had better cheese selections, but at least it was something and a good chance to speak with other guests.

The best part was it’s dog friendly. Our dog loved the room and the area.

The only negatives which could be fixed easily. For a dog friendly hotel with many dogs there’s one old ugly garbage can in the underground garage for dog bags. They really should have easily accessible dog waste areas with dog bags as most every other dog friendly hotel does.

The shower is a handheld one and the temperature and faucet were hard to control. Bathrooms and showers at hotels are very important part of a stay. Our bed mattress was worn and sloping, so appears to need a new mattress at some point.

The thermostat was a dial instead of digital and difficult to get right temperature.

Staying at the Harbor House Hitel felt like coming home. Warm, cozy, romantic, clean, it has it all. Large comfy king bed and a fireplace that made it oh so special. Breakfast was great too. We will definitely visit again and highly recommended.

We had a very good experience at the Harbor House Hotel and the staff were amazing. They were friendly , curtious and very hospitable.

Fantastic small hotel with a great location. Staff is super friendly and responsive. Guest rooms are comfortable and quiet. You can walk just about anywhere in the town, and very convenient to the Shaw Festival. Breakfast buffet is always of high quality. We have stayed in the larger hotels in NOTL and much prefer the homestyle atmosphere of the Harbour House.

Our getaway to NOTL and our stay at Harbour House was lovely. A great location just walking distance to Queen St. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. There's a warm, welcoming cozy atmosphere. We loved the Nautical theme throughout the hotel. The staff members were all courteous, friendly and helpful. We met guests who return every year. That in itself says so much. It was truly a pleasure being there.

We stayed here to celebrate our anniversary. Our room was exceptional! The continental breakfast was delicious. Within easy walking distance of the downtown and the lake. We were able to also use the complimentary charger for our EV. We greatly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend Habour House

Celebrated my 60th birthday. High tea was delicious and the server was very personable. Room was lovely and breakfast was amazing

We would definitely stay at the Harbour House again. 100%. The room with a fireplace, excellent shower and jacuzzi tub, service, food, breakfast. All top notch!

This hotel makes you feel that you are at home.It is small enough that you feel comfortable and not one of many.
The shuttle service is free and allows you an opportunity to not have to drive your own car for dinner.

I can not even count how many times our family has chosen the Harbour House for our visits to Niagara on the Lake... but I know how many of those times we enjoyed ourselves beyond belief.... ALL OF THEM!!!!. The facility is amazing top notch inside and out from the time you park and check in, the beautiful breakfast, the wine and cheese, the shuttle service, not to mention the beautiful spacious rooms. The staff compliments the facility in a way that truly makes you feel at home. Everyone addresses you by name and is there to help in any way they can. I can not wait to return and visit them next month.

Six of us stayed at the Harbour House last week and it was excellent---from the reception area, to the large, spotless rooms, delicious breakfasts, and the complimentary wine and cheese reception each night. It is an older property, but meticulously maintained. Highest recommendation! Can't wait to return.

We stayed two nights in a large comfortable room where everything worked perfectly. It was a bit of a walk through rather dark residential streets to get into the town centre in the evening and it would have been nice to have been told of the hotel almost opposite but hidden behind some trees where we could get a great meal when we arrived in the pouring rain. There is no restaurant at the hotel and you have to go out. Interesting to learn later of a shuttle service into town! Breakfast was rather limited, but nice that's it's included

Lots of extras! Breakfast, shuttle to some restaurants, a lovely wine tasting/happy hour! Very clean and friendly staff!
