Gute Location, das war's aber auch
Pros:

Die Location ist ganz gut, wenn man in Kassel weggehen will oder mit dem Zug verreisen. Der 20er Jahre Charm schaut nett aus in der Lobby.

Cons:

Der Aufzug war den kompletten Aufenhalt über kaputt, das ganze Hotel wirkt wie aus den 90ern herausgefallen (abseits der Lobby), mit teilweise sehr fragwürdigen Designentscheidungen (Dusche ohne Sichtschutz?!)

Unterirdischer Service. Unangemessene Breicherung an den Kosten.

Ich hatte in der Nacht vom 15.09. bis zum 16.09.2026 ein Businesszimmer zum Preis von 183 Euro gebucht. Am 15.09. erhliet ich ein E-Mail des Hotels mit folgendem Text: " Guten Tag Herr Beck, leider müssen wir aufgrund eines Wasserschadens einige unserer Gäste vorübergehend in ein anderes Hotel ausquartieren.
Ihre Unterbringung würde daher im Excelsior Hotel Kassel erfolgen, das sich direkt gegenüber von unserem Hotel befindet.
Wir bitten um Ihr Verständnis und entschuldigen uns für die dadurch entstandenen Unannehmlichkeiten.
Vielen Dank für Ihr Verständnis." Bei meiner Ankunft am Abend des 15.09.2026 habe ich mir das letzte verfügbare Zimmer im Hotel Excelisor angesehen. Die Unterkunftbietet völlig veraltete muffige Zimmer und hätte in keiner Weise dem gebuchten Standard entsprechen. Die Dame an der Rezeption des Excelsior erlärte mir das sie das Zimmer für 110 Euro pro Nacht vermieten würden. In der Rezeption des Tryp by Wyndham Kassel war man nicht bereit mir preislich entgegenzukommen. Am 18.09.2026 mein Kreditkartenkonto mit dem vollen Betrag von 183 Euro belasted. Währen neiner verzweifelten Suche nach einer alternativen Übernachtungslösung haben im Try Windham Gäste eingecheckt. Man könnte gegebenfalls einen Eingehungsbetrug unterstellen.
