We had a lovely stay at Cala Moresca. It’s a stunning wedding venue high on the hill, and while there are a few areas that need a little love, the positives far outweigh the negatives.
The Views & Grounds are absolutely unbeatable. Breathtaking panoramas over Bacoli, Procida, and Ischia on beautifully maintained grounds.
The Rooms are a good size, clean, with lovely decor, and ours even featured a private sauna!
The Food we ate at the second restaurant when it was open was really good (We couldn't try the other one as it was closed for functions).
The Staff were polite, attentive, and friendly (note: English is limited, so bring your Google Translate app or learn Italian, you are in Italy!).
The pool and hallways are due for a bit of updating.
The wellness area is old and wasn't functioning. Because the hotel is high up and venues close for private events, they would do much better to convert the wellness space into a cozy evening bar/food spot for hotel guests when weddings are on.
Despite the minor areas for improvement, it's a lovely hotel and we would happily return!
Cala Moresca is a truly lovely hotel perched high up on the hillside, offering the most breathtaking views over Bacoli, Procida, and Ischia. The grounds are beautifully maintained and very pretty. It’s a highly popular venue for weddings and functions, and it’s completely obvious why! The hotel is very transparent when you book about potential noise from these events, but honestly, it really wasn't that bad and everything wrapped up at a decent time.
Our room was amazing, spacious, spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, and it even came with a sauna which was a fantastic added bonus. The staff were also great; everyone was polite, friendly, and attentive. While they speak limited English, you are in Italy after all, a little Google Translate or basic Italian goes a long way.
We had some really good food in the second restaurant when it was open (we didn't get to experience the main one due to the private functions). However, because you are up so high and things can close for events, guests can feel a bit stuck in the evening. The pool area and hallways could use a bit of TLC, and the wellness area in particular is quite dated and wasn't working. They would do much better to scrap the wellness area completely and turn it into a dedicated resident bar/snack area for guests to enjoy when functions are on!
Overall, it is a beautiful place and we would definitely stay here again.

The view was absolutely stunning!!!The room was beautiful and everything was fresh and clean. Ludawiga was our first contact at the front desk and she was so gracious and friendly!! We felt very appreciated and welcomed by her. The hotel, and surrounding areas are gorgeous and very well maintained . The complimentary breakfast was very fresh tasting and yummy!! Everyone was so helpful, nice and welcoming to us.
I wanted to reserve a massage and other spa treatments and I did request this at the time of my booking. I was never contacted by anyone from the spa and I was unable to reserve any treatments during our stay at the spa when I asked at the front desk.
Todo excepcional! Si volvemos a Bacoli, volvemos allí!
