Great place with great amenities
Pros:

This place was a lovely to stay at. Very close and convenient to where I need to be. The staff was super friendly, the rooms were pretty clean but could be cleaner (I have high cleaning expectations).
The breakfast here was probably my favorite.
Hands down this hotel gave me the best hotel experience I’ve had for a work trip.

Cons:

A little expensive and wish there was more shaded parking

I love the atmosphere, the cleanliness and the wonderful staff. The room that we got was nice and cozy. I loved everything about the hotel and the room. I didn't try the breakfast but I will the next time.

Our Home On The Road
Pros:

This hotel is our road trip home. It is so clean, comfortable and well-located. You can walk to Wegman's for dining in, or it's just a minutes-only drive to numerous good restaurants and shopping opportunities. The decor is great, the bed is super comfortable and they even thought to put a little rod in the shower for leg shaving - an awesome innovation. Love this Homewood Suites!

Awful experience here, with significant safety concerns
Pros:

My team and I had an awful experience at the Homewood Suites in Fredericksburg, VA (1040 Hospitality Ln, Fredericksburg, VA 22401) during our most recent stay.

Over the course of two weeks there were three separate incidents on the property, two of which required police presence, and two which showed a severe lack of judgment by hotel management.

The first two incident involved a serious case of sexual harassment that was questioned by hotel staff despite the need for police presence, and a lack of action once the predator was identified (they were allowed to remain in the hotel in close proximity to the person they were harassing). The second involved hotel staff barging into the room of another female colleague and accusing them of overstaying their welcome despite them producing their hotel reservation, and proper identification. They were removed from their room and not allowed to return for 3 hours, and their credit card was temporarily charged $3,000. The third involved a colleague’s tires being stolen off his car in the parking lot (one of two cars that day), and a mediocre response from hotel management.

I strongly recommend against staying at this property.

The property was misrepresented as a three bedroom home. It is a two bedroom home with a garage bedroom detached. No bathroom for the garage bedroom. The property was dirty and there were a number of issues such as no welcome packet no TV remotes not enough washcloths there were dirty dishes in the cupboards . There was no shampoo, conditioner, or body wash. They were all mismarked or empty. The washer and dryer area light was broken. The dryer was broken

Great price, definitely worth it. 7.5-8/10 for an overall rating.
Pros:

The staff was very friendly and respectful. Had a good laugh with some members as well and everyone was always very professional. Loved the atmosphere! My hotel room was very nice, not too crowded and not too big either.

Cons:

I wish there were more drawers/a bigger closet for clothes. Bigger/more bags for dirty laundry. Also I didn’t check all of them but one of the knives had some mystery crust on it but there was nothing to clean it with so the kitchen was kind of useless to use. I wish there were more things to do inside the hotel since it was cold some days of my stay there. Food also could’ve been a bit better and I wish there were more options

Pros:

Very clean, food was good, really appreciated the small coffee makers in the room. We love our first couple cups of coffee earlier than when the breakfast room opens. Great place.
