Would we stay again? Yes, a much more enjoyable stay this time.
Pros:

- Friendly staff, especially at the Honey Beach Bar
- Room on the quiet side of the building (last time we had our sleep interrupted by the noise from the Honey Beach Bar on the other side)
- Reception staff went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable (as last stay we weren't)
- Nice relaxing pool area
- Super comfy beds and pillows

amazing hotel if you can get past the noise!
Pros:

Easy access and near places of interest in Colombo

Cons:

I felt that the room didnt have sound proofing - You can hear the music blaring out from the ground floor bar and beeping cars from outside. if you are wanting to rest early you just have to bare with it until the music stops late in the night.

Great hotel in a very good location
Pros:

Very comfortable large hotel with very nice rooms. The cafe on the ground floor was exceptional and great value. The cocktail bar on the roof gave a great view across the city. Great location for the station and very good restaurants in the old Dutch hospital site.

Cons:

Unfortunately there was very loud music playing until late which disturbed our sleep.
