First and foremost, I booked a double room with a queen sized bed for £98 on booking.com.
When I got to the property apparently I had booked a twin room with two small beds that costed £20 extra
My card was charged an extra £20 and I was refunded in cash
Then I was informed that the only double room available did not have AC and the only room available with an AC had two twin beds
When I asked for water, I was informed by the staff that stock had run out and there was no water to drink so then I had to order water through delivery
The location is also really hard to find as there is no sign boards but there is a massive signboard of an Indian restaurant
All in all terrible experience, and I will not be back

The walls were filthy and the reception man in the morning didn’t even say thanks for returning the card.
The exterior
It is a lovely English house that has been made into some sort of hotel that is not a hotel. Wallpaper falling off, stains, staff sawing at 10pm, mess outside.
Should not be allowed to be called a hotel.

Very dirty, poo on the bin in the bathroom, the guy came knocking on my door at 10.30 to ask for payment, I explained I had paid, he was insisting I come with him, I showed him the out going payment on my bank app and said goodbye. Was very uncomfortable. Rooms blasting music till 4 am

I should have read the reviews. The pictures are absolutely fabrication, misrepresentation. This is an incredibly unsafe location
Physically dirty, in every aspect especially bed sheets and pillows. Intimidating Loud and males around very late at night. Access to reception when staffed was through open car park

It had working air conditioning during the heatwave
The room smelt of stale cigarettes and the air conditioner leaked but there were no other air conditioned rooms to switch to, so I stayed and ignored the dripping

Smelt absolutely disgusting. Wouldn't ever stay again. Staff no idea where anything is like local train or taxis
