It was okay, not worth money, sister hotel in Brighton much much better
Pros:

It looked fresh inside

Cons:

Looked run down outside, the car park recommended to use had variety of human excrement, there were two individuals injecting substances into their feet, the lift didn’t work, and severe pigeon problem. Was not happy about taking baby into this environment with no warning. Discount to park there also not clear.
The maids walked into the room after being told no catching wife in vulnerable situation.
Could not connect to tv so ended up going to sleep hours early
Had to ask for travel cot 4 times. Twice prior to arrival and just told depended on availability… I requested it upon booking and not something that can really go without. Had to chase for it twice and unable to put very tired baby to sleep until arrived.

It's OK
Pros:

Booked for a night to visit Plymouth University. Perfect location for the uni, shops, eateries and close to the harbour. Car park next door was pretty grim but for £10 for 24 hour's it was convenient.
Check in was quick. Hotel appeared clean as was the room. Was a nice option to have a second full size bed rather than a sofa bed. Beds comfy. Good selection of tea and coffee, TV with plenty of channels and free Wi-Fi. Temperature control in room. Iron and ironing board also in room.
Down side was the pedal bin in bathroom didn't work and there was no storage for toiletries and the toilet made a loud noise upon flushing.
Breakfast was tasty. Good selection of hot and cold items. Eat and drink as much as you wish. Seating area was clean and comfy.
Check out was quick.
I'd recommend for the location and for a quick business stay it's perfectly adequate. Not somewhere to choose for a holiday though. It lacks character and warmth.
