Location , comfortable bed and spacious room
Tv was unwatchable as it was pixelated but we didn’t inform reception as we didn’t want to be disturbed. So they didn’t have the opportunity to sort this.
The breakfast was good, staff kept the restaurant spotless and were engaging with the punters In the bar the young girl with the cropped hair was very pleasant and chatted to us whilst cleaning up. She was the highlight of our evening. The reception team were on the ball with any problems, especially the lack of hot water.
In the bar the young girl was quite surly with when ordered a pint of Guinness in fact my wife found her very rude. We have both worked in hospitality my wife being a public an and me being a drayman and have always put a smile on our face when facing the public. Unless she changes her attitude, maybe her career in hospitality is in doubt or she should go on a training course on how to deal with general public. We were not impressed.
Was clean
Didn’t have elevator for parking and also charged me 10£ extra for parking was shocking
The service was exceptional. One young lady in particular, was very accommodating regarding my dietary requirements. It makes such a difference.

The parking was a nightmare but I think they are aware of issues of lack of signage
Comfortable and quiet room. The hotel is centrally located in the city.
We were a bit unlucky with the timing of breakfast. There was a large tour group in the dining room at the same time as us, which meant the dishes emptied quickly and it got quite crowded. In the end, we more or less gave up. The staff did their best to keep up, but it didn't help much.
Room clean and functional and spacious. Staff very friendly and location perfect.

I liked the breakfast very much indeed, staff there were lovely. I would stay here again for that alone when visiting my student son next.
The coach tourists on 2nd morning having breakfast were a bit much as they were making themselves sandwiches from breakfast stuff. I didn’t care but made it v tricky for staff to keep restocking. Staff were very professional & calm even with that going on,
The car park. It felt secure for car. BUT the stairway was filthy & a bit scary as there was rubbish everywhere. It was preferable to walk down car ramp.
Great breakfast options. Very good value for money and the best asset was the team of lovely and helpful people working there. Christoph stood out with the best energy!

I was charge for two breakfast , the staff she cant do anything about it and the phone does not work in the room
The fact that parking is so close and the hotel has a deal package for parking is great. The area being right close to everything in the town and a stone throw from the Hoe Marina is fantastic, can't fault the staff to, very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was exceptional, brilliant selection of everything to choose from, a % off your food and drinks, by joining the Leonardo hotels free membership was brilliant to, a great deal. Rooms were lovely and clean, air-conditioning was a bonus in the heatwave and room staff were fantastic and went that extra mile to help out..
The one and only thing we didn't like was the fact that there was no fridge in the room, even just a small one would have been nice, especially in the heatwave to be able at night and early hours to get a refreshing cold drink of our own stock from the fridge, as the kids are particular or lets just say fussy of what they drink, so would have been nice to have chilled our own for us & the children.
