The room, the furniture was old and the tv certain local channels wouldn’t come on.

The back door entry where are room is always open. I close it twice when I went outside. I don’t feel safe being opened.

Cost was a bit high for the area

Room smelled like a sweaty armpit. Front desk girl was so smug and was the worst in helping with just guiding us to where our room was in the hotel aside from anything else we asked. Her name started with a Z and should NOT be in the hospitality business. We had to switch rooms around 10 pm cause the AC was blasting so hard and no way to turn it down not to mention the TV didnt work. Literally worst experience for the amount of money we spent( $192) for the night. Unfortunately if you are here for an event like we were, not many choices for hotel. HORRIBLE

Had a room above and facing the pool and people were there past “closed” time which was 10pm so it made it hard to sleep.noise was being made until almost 11pm. Would prefer to be away from the pool next time.

The ceiling in the bathroom had a huge crack and it was leaking. Looked like it had been patched up before but not fixed correctly. I called the front desk to get a new room, couldn’t get one that night because they were fully booked, but the following night they were able to get us switched to a new room. It also was not very clean. A used washed cloth was left in the bathroom from the previous guest. Wrappers were left on the floor due to the vacuum not being able to pick them up.

Had possibly our worst hotel experience ever staying at the Hampton Inn in Elk Grove. Chose this low-end location solely for it’s proximity to an event we were attending and we just needed a place to sleep as we weren’t planning on spending any time at the hotel other than that. I have very little positive to say about this stay. Let’s start with our arrival. We selected one of their wellness rooms (as a pet-friendly hotel these rooms are selected to always be pet-free). The room was not clean. There were visible clumps of hair on the baseboard near the toilet, as well as hairs in the track for the shower doors. The room was especially dusty; we could run our fingers along edges and collect clumps of dust! Also, there was a wasp trapped between the window and the screen. When trying to jiggle the screen to allow it to escape a spider slithered down! Not exactly confidence inspiring. We asked to be moved, but they had no more wellness rooms available so they offered to have the cleaning crew go back and do a deep clean and remove the wasp and spider. The sole positive comment I have is the front desk staff that day were very compassionate and worked hard to make it right for us.
However, it got worse from there. During our second night a rowdy group of hotel guests continued to have a party into the wee hours of the morning. They were running around the halls, talking and screaming loudly. And, they parked a couple of cars toward the far end of the parking lot and proceeded to have a party with about 10 young adults until 5 o’clock in the morning. The thumping music and the laughing and screaming were so loud you could hear it though the closed window even up on the 4th floor. I called the front desk and they did nothing. Finally had to call the police at 4:30 to come disburse them.
