Great Location Ruined by Terrible Management

While I absolutely loved the property and its location, this hotel is, in my opinion, extremely poorly managed. During a four-night stay, we had to go to the reception no less than 10 times to resolve basic, ongoing issues.

Here is a breakdown of our experience:

- Check-In & Missing Information: We were not provided with the required access code for our door in advance. Once we finally gained entry, the room had no shampoo or towels.

- Housekeeping Failures: Despite paying for cleaning services, our room was ignored for three out of our four nights. Every morning, reception reassured us the room would be cleaned, and every evening we returned to a dirty room. We were repeatedly dismissed with the excuse that "the cleaning staff had already left," followed by empty promises for the next day. Furthermore, basic amenities like soap, shampoo, and towels were not replaced for three days, forcing us to constantly beg for them at reception.

- Security Risks & Unprofessionalism: On the single day our room was actually cleaned, the staff left our door completely unlocked for the entire day with all of our personal belongings inside. Bizarrely, the AC was also left running on full heat—a move that felt like intentional retaliation for our previous complaints.

- Rude Staff: While not everyone was problematic, several receptionists were incredibly rude and completely lacked empathy. Rather than apologizing for the hotel's failures, they acted as though they were doing us a massive favor by addressing issues that should never have happened in the first place.

After 20 years of traveling, this is easily one of the worst-managed hotels I have ever stayed in. I strongly suggest looking elsewhere until this property undergoes a serious management overhaul.

Pros:

Location was good, walking distance to beach and all the bars and restaurants. Only thing to be aware of is due to being so close to bars/restaurants there are delivery trucks in the morning that are very loud.

Cons:

When we arrived we went to find the reception which took us under 10 minutes. In that time the resort staff had clamped our car.

Siesta key nightmare
Cons:

One of the worst accommodation what we ever had. As we had problems with very late check in when we had to wait in front of your resort over 2 hours with a small child because the room was not ready on the time and we were told we will receive the refund of one night free. We got the key at 6 p.m.! We did not receive anything. They are liars!

Cons:

When we arrived our room had damp towels, and the hand towel had a ball of someone else’s hair in it. Our bathroom floor had some water pooled in it. Not sure where it came from, and after cleaning it up with the bath mat it never returned
Bathroom had no vanity so there was no place to put any of your toiletries.
No coffee cups left in room and coffee maker is very specific so couldn’t use any other cups we had

Kitchen was not stocked …. Coffee pot needed, baking pan for oven, toaster, coffee cups were way too small. Two lunch plates and no dinner plates. A broom would have been nice to keep sand cleaned up. No dish cloth or towel or potholder.

It’s beautiful and convenient, but may not stay here again.
Pros:

Staffs were friendly at the front desk, our room was neat and clean, seem pretty new. Bed was comfortable, big size tv was a plus, bathroom was big with double sinks.

Cons:

Did not know we were in second floor and did not know we were on the other side of the street, when I looked up to book this place, I was expecting to be where I saw the address was at, closer walking distance to the beach, but we ended up on the other side of the street, made walking so much farther we ended up not going to the beach that morning.
I may have read it wrong or it was put in general, I was expecting a full kitchen, but our room only had a fridge and coffee maker, not even a microwave. All we really needed was a microwave in our room, so that was frustrating! We booked for four people, a king side bed and a pull out mattress sofa. This is the first booking where they don’t have extra pillows available in the room!! Another frustration. Oh and good luck trying to email or call them, I did it for two days in a row before our check in and no one got back to me.

O quarto é confortante apesar de termos ficado em um no andar superior e ter escada

Cons:

Tudo é uma questão de expectativa. Eles não oferecem guarda sol para praia o que é um problema quando se pensa no sol da Florida. Vc tem que levar as cadeiras para a praia não tem serviço de praia. São de 300 a 400 m ate o acesso a praia. Não chega a ser um problema mas não é o que se espera de um local que tem como nome resort. Esta mais para uma pousada.
