Excellent stay.
Pros:

The location on the resort grounds is excellent. The rooms are large and have space to put luggage. The main bathroom is large & has a bath. If you have small children- the stairs are very steep & narrow- be mindful of this. The kitchen was large in size- only crockery provided no condiments. The airconditioning seems to be locked on 1 setting- however there are extra blankets in the cupboards. Balcony is beautiful & lot's of wildlife to see. There isn't any parking outside the villa- you need to park a good 5-7min walk away. Again with small children/a lot of luggage this can be an issue. Overall clean stay.

The A-Team is at Rafferty Resort’s Reception
Pros:

We found the ‘A-Team of Customer Service’ at Rafferty Resort’s Reception. Toni and Christine are true professionals and offer that old school customer service that is missing at most hotels these days.
From our first email together, right through to departure we felt cared for. We had a TV issue upon check-in and Toni tirelessly worked hard until it was fixed. She just wanted us to enjoy our stay.
These two should open a Customer Service School!
Very impressed…

The price is for the location not the room we were in
Pros:

We spent one night here for a wedding, and overall it was a pleasant stay. The 2-bedroom apartment we were in was run down and dated. It was fairly clean at a basic level, but at a certain age it's hard to make a place look sparkly clean. For instance, the bathroom grout was dark and there were lots of marks on the wall. However, the beds were comfortable and there were plenty of extra blankets around.

The front desk service we received was quite good. The wedding we attended was at 3 PM on a Saturday, and we were allowed to check in at 10:30 that morning to allow time to get ready. We were also put in a room directly across the parking lot from the wedding venue. I don't know if that was intentional, but it was convenient.

We went to the on-site restaurant for lunch, and the food, drinks, and service were quite good. The views of the lake are spectacular.

The wedding ceremony was right on the lake shore, and it was a beautiful location. However, there had been lots of rain in the weeks leading up to the ceremony and it would have been nice if some kind of solid walkway could be put down so women wearing heels didn't have to sacrifice their shoes to the mud. The bride even stumbled because of the mud on her way down the aisle.

The reception area is nice, and again has great views of the lake. The dance floor and bar are separate from the dining area, which I thought was nice so people could get up and dance without it feeling like a spectator sport. The food and service here were good as well.

If I had paid the same price for this room in an ordinary location I would be pretty upset, but given the circumstances it was fine.

Great short stay, just the mattresses within the 2bedroom cottage that disappointed.

Lovely Resort
Pros:

We stayed in a 2 bedroom loft cottage. It was lovely and spacious, comfy beds (although I would suggest bringing own pillow). The garden's were lovely and nice pools. The tv in our cottage was in a strange position, ie not in front of the lounges which was a bit frustrating to watch. The restaurant was also being renovated during our stay so no-where to eat but there was a range of courtesy buses available to pubs etc. But all up nice place to stay.

Pros:

The setting was amazing, location beautiful but was glad we only stayed two nights as the kitchen was average. It seemed that the crockery, cutlery and pots and pans hadn’t had a good clean in a while and there wasn’t any dishwasher tablets to remedy.

Over priced and terribly run down. Not a resort
Pros:

Most definitely not a resort. The most run down over priced accommodation we’ve ever stayed in. Stayed in a freestanding 3 bed cottage which was run down, terrible smell in the entire place, uncomfortable furniture, terrible bathrooms, inadequate facilities for the price paid (no toiletries provided and limited bath linen), decor is hideous, the list goes on. Avoid this place!

DON'T STAY HERE.
Pros:

Where do I start? We stayed at this place for a special occasion. When booking I asked for a renovated room, (Treetops Terrace) after reading other reviews that said some rooms were renovated some not. I was assured I would get a renovated room...well if 506 was renovated I'd hate to see an un-renovated one!!
The place looked like it hadn't had a proper clean for YEARS. Both showers had USED soap in the soap holders! Proof that no one had cleaned the room before we were given it.
Everything from the AC ducts, curtains, carpet and cupboards were gross. We came home and found a cockroach in one of the bedrooms. The clock on the wall is obviously broken or needs new batteries as it never moved from 5pm the whole 3 days we were there.
Despite all the threats online about noise levels, we had people next door who partied on well past midnight....of course there's no one to complain to as the reception is closed.
We were allocated 2 parking spots, being four of us, but one spot couldn't be used as there were barriers all around it.
The only bedding was a thin old blanket topped with a sheet, and it was freezing! With the AC heat on it was like an oven upstairs and an icebox below.
Upon checking out on the Monday morning, I took the filthy makeup mirror to reception as evidence of the filth they charged us $400 per night for. You could tell my complaints fell on deaf ears as they'd heard it all before! Others on here have mentioned used soap in the bathrooms so they clearly know cleaners aren't doing a good job, or they're not cleaning AT ALL.
I'm giving the place 1 star.....that is purely for the location.

Great family getaway
Pros:

Accommodation villas are all different so you may get one that's just been renovated or you may get an older one. Pool is great and beautiful tranquil surrounds. Kids had a blast and we had a nice chill out. Highly recommended . Maybe just check the cabins

Pros:

We had booked accommodation with raffertys months ago, providing full details of the current guests, including two young children. Yet what was provided was not child friendly. We made this clear to the reception and felt like the feedback was not acknowledged appropriately. Did not feel like our booking details were even taken into account when being designated a room. The access to parking was not great either. How can guests park anywhere close by with very limited parking anywhere and no access to the garage?

The 4 pools were the clincher.
Pros:

Check in staff were amazing. We got an awesome upgrade. The apartments are awesome, really clean & have everything you need. The 4 pools & numerous tennis courts got a bit of use (mainly pools) loved that both rooms had an ensuite. Overall definitely would recommend.

Pros:

The office was closed at 6:50pm when we arrived (no prior communication or call confirming), however there was an out of hours number to call, who were helpful in checking in.
The accommodation was fine, dated, but suitable for our stay.
There was a large amount of dead ants in the cutlery drawer, as well as a couple of live cockroaches running around, the following morning we also found a large amount of live ants running around kitchen (no food left out as we ate out and didnt have a chance to buy any).
On a positive the amenities were great, tennis courts, pools which were great for kids.

Give it a miss - nothing resort like here
Pros:

Dirty and tired.
I had to ask at reception for some cleaning items as the kitchen was dirty. l was informed that the housekeeping manager would be along to take a look - she never appeared.
Had to wear shoes on the “white” carpet as it was so unclean it made the soles of my feet black 🤢
The whole grounds are a fire hazard, branches and leaves everywhere, all gutters full of debris, made me very uncomfortable.
Clumps of hair in the heated pool.
