Beautiful hotel. Amazing decor, lovely garden with and outstanding giant chess set.
A very cool place to explore very family oriented and overall a wonderful experience 😀
The staff was all very helpful and the doorman were all very friendly. John was great to take us down to Enniskerry a few times and the other gentleman was great to help us with the bikes. I highly suggest the bike ride down by water and explore around. Loved this hotel so much!
We had a wonderful stay at Powerscourt Hotel as a family of five (2 adults and 3 children). Our family room was very spacious and comfortable, which made a big difference for a relaxing break.
The service throughout the hotel was exceptional—every staff member we encountered was friendly, attentive, and welcoming. The food and service in the Sally Gap Restaurant were terrific, and it was a real highlight of our stay.
Our 10-year-old son had a fantastic experience with the golf pro, Paul, enjoying both a lesson and a nine-hole round, which he absolutely loved.
The kids absolutely loved the pool, and the staff in the spa were super friendly. It was also a really nice touch having mini robes and slippers in the room for the children.
The grounds are truly beautiful and perfect for exploring as a family.
We will definitely be back!
Fantastic! Top praise to all staff but especially to Mossy at this fabulous hotel, for all their extra support for our girls' wedding day at the nearby Powerscourt Estate. The suites and rooms, the shuttle service, the help with extra needs for the makeup and hair teams .... everything was perfect. Worth every penny, and they do a delicious breakfast and scones as well !
Was an amazing experience! Thank you so much to everyone at the hotel who made the stay so special. It was our wedding weekend and all went so perfectly, we’re so grateful! Especially thanks to Mossy for all his extra help on the day :)
we attended the Powerscourt Hotel in March to celebrate our 38th Wedding Anniversary. I called the hotel in advance and requested a room with a view and booked afternoon tea as a treat. The couldn't have been more accommodating and absolutely went the "the Extra Mile" to make the stay memorable and a really helped us celebrate our important occasion
I wish I could give more stars to the Powerscourt Hotel, because it was just phenomenal. We had the most wonderful stay in incredibly comfortable and nice rooms. But, what made the hotel amazing was the incredible staff. John at the front of the hotel is just a treasure. He was so incredibly kind to my family and I. I wanted to bring him back to the states with us! He was so helpful and friendly. I also want to thank the other gentlemen who worked at the entry way, and Maya at the Sugarloaf Lounge, who was just wonderful! I can't wait to come back.
This was our second time to Powerscourt and it didn't disappoint. On our way to Wicklow we went to Beyond the trees which is great for couples and also families. Definitely look it up online if you are planning a trip to the hotel. On arrival we were welcomed by the staff. Our suite was so beautiful and spotlessly clean. We ate at the breakfast buffet both mornings. Both the quality and service was excellent. It was the week of Easter and the hotel was very busy but the standard of service did not slip. We took a drive out to an area called Glendalough whilst there and went for a lovely walk. It was a very interesting historical area and definitely worth the 30 min or so drive to explore the surrounding area. The gardens are wonderful to look at. They are maintained fantastically and definitely somewhere to be seen seasonally as we were able to notice the changes since our winter trip previously. We ate both evening at the Sally Gap and each time we left very content with our meal and service. We played some games that had been left out on the lawn in the morning which was fun. The hotel is very welcoming and the staff are very polite. We took a stroll down to see the horses that are located on the drive in. The back drop of the drive in is just beautiful. The pool facilities are excellent. We have yet to use the spa but I'm sure it is very good. Overall the hotel offers a very warm and welcoming atmosphere. I loved to sit by the fire and take the atmosphere in whilst having a coffee. We will definitely be returning to the hotel. I found it good value for money. Quality food in both the restaurants and breakfast service. There are plenty of activities to do both within the estate but also nearby towns. I would recommend this hotel without a doubt. Enjoy your stay when you do go !!
If you are traveling in County Wicklow, this hotel/resort should not be missed. It is within a 30 minute drive from Dublin, but a world apart. The setting is lovely, with fantastic views of the Great Sugar Loaf Mountain. There is world-class hiking in the area, including the Powerscourt Waterfall. The resort has everything you would want, including a spa, lounge, a pub and a fine dining restaurant. There is a renowned garden, two golf courses, a distillery, and a garden center. The rooms are spacious with lovely views of Great Sugar Loaf and the impressive grounds. The whole property is well maintained and looked after. Breakfast is particularly good. What makes it really stand out though, is the staff. On our recent stay, I asked the receptionist for a photocopy of an important document. She was very happy to do so, but the black and white copier she used didn't provide good detail. So she asked me to send the document to her email, which I did after I checked into my room. I received a call from the staff within 30 minutes to tell me that the color copy was completed. I told her thank you and I would be down to the reception area to pick it up. But a few minutes later a young man on the staff knocked on my door and presented it to me personally. That type of hospitality truly makes the experience memorable. My wife and I have stayed at the Powerscourt many times and we try to visit it at least once a year.
Cannot fault it.
Nothing.
Room was nice but was expecting wow.
Nothing wowed me. Was on level 2 and facing the back. Room was very dark.
Luxury without being stuffy, beautiful rooms with an amazing view of sugar loaf mountain , service was first class and the food in Siska restaurant was divine. There are lovely
Walks close by, the golf course and the house . A wonderful location to explore the Wicklow mountains .
We had a fantastic time at Powerscourt. We brought the children for an Easter adventure and what an adventure it was. The kids enjoyed their own check in at reception with goodie bags. We then went on an Easter Egg hunt around the gorgeous grounds of the hotel and enjoyed a swim in the fabulous pool before dinner. The staff were so attentive, the hotel so lovely and the food was amazing. Our kids absolutely adored it. Especially the little touches such as mini bath robes for them and a popcorn station before unwinding with us as we watched a movie.
Really can’t recommend Powerscourt enough. We’ll be back.
We enjoyed a fabulous overnight stay in Powerscourt Hotel, with dinner in the Sally Gap and breakfast in the morning before heading home the next day. We were warmly welcomed the moment we arrived and experienced top class hospitality and professionalism from every member of staff. We felt relaxed and recharged leaving - a beautiful hotel and superb staff, thank you.
We stayed at the Powerscourt hotel while .y sister and my nieces were visiting me in Ireland for Easter break. We loved everything about our stay, from the check-in/out flexibility to the very welcoming staff, the beautiful vast room we got and the luxury in every detail. We loved the rich breakfast buffet and enjoyed a very delicious dinner at the restaurant. The pool kept the kids busy as well as the Easter activities prepared just for them. The grounds around the hotel are just breathtaking and we genuinely didn't want to leave! We will definitely come back, this was a perfect break!
We got a free upgrade upon check-in and the staff were so helpful.
The room was extremely comfortable with a beautiful view and the food and drinks were exceptional.
I can't wait for us to return.
Nothing.
Everything was amazing.
The room, the drinks, the food, the service.
Grounds are fab and the food and service is also great. Room was also spacious and very clean. Overall had a great experience in powerscourt and would recommend.
