I had to rinse out the jacuzzi tub before using, there was some debris along the bottom. There was some delays in check out, however I do believe that was on behalf of the 3rd party managing the booking. There is no art on the walls so they feel empty and boring. The quality of the food and the customer service is however, incredible and I enjoyed this aspect of the stay very much.
This Hotel does a lot of things right from check-in to check-out. I wanted to take the mattress home with me. You can set the room temperature to just how you like it. All the staff are friendly and accommodating. They have a beautiful water park. Overall, just a great place to stay.
We enjoyed a little getaway even tho we live in Calgary!! And really enjoyed ourselves and will definitely come back again!! Malcom and the staff were all amazing thank you!!!
We have stayed before here and was a wonderful experience. The staff make sure your visit is the best it can be and that all your needs are met. I am disabled and they tried to find an accessible room for me, but couldn't find one. The fact they tried told me a lot about there establishment. I would stay again and tell others about it.
Price is high for what you get. No breakfast included or even water replenished in the room. Air conditioner is extremely loud. Rooms were clean and staff were pleasant to deal with.
Not happy with price and quality of bedding. The reason for our stay was the location otherwise I would not recommend staying here. They over charged for our stay. They called it a long weekend rate.
Highly recommend the Deerfoot Inn & Casino for all your family get aways, work conferences or just to leisure and decompress. The casino was fun! The pool was fun! And the food was exceptionally great!! The pillows were great, however the mattresses need better firmness and wish all the bathrooms had a soaker tub! Overall was a great experience and will return, plus it's a bonus to have ample free parking :)
Unexpected extra charges above room rate.only expected taxes.
Getting the names right on the booking would help.
Everything went well, but the best part was the accessibility room on the ground floor. It made me feel safe - in the past 6 months i have been in two hotels on floors 4 and up, with a fire alarm in the middle of the night. No plan to get me down, except for me to figure it out.
So this hotel made me feel safe.
And the staff were great - i needed a bucket of ice - no problem - I was given one.
Overall a great ecperience!!!
This place was great for my 50th birthday. The Mohave grill was excellent and the live band at the wildhorse pub was really good as well. The rooms are very clean and come with everything you need except for a microwave. I find the price on the high side at $1000 for two night, but you are paying for convenience to have everything all in one place. I would definitely stay again.
Confirmed (twice) for a room with a queen bed and a pull out sofa. On arrival we were informed that our reservation had been changed (without notice) to an accessible room with one bed and a chair. Highly unsuitable for 3 adults and a dog. Front desk said tough luck but we could take it or leave as they were fully booked. I requested my originally booked and confirmed room and was denied. I requested (and received) a rollaway cot which of course made the room extremely cramped. No accommodation such as a price adjustment was offered. I believe this is unacceptable for a $600+ a night.
Room was also noisy due to kids running in the hallway knocking on random doors.
This was in total contrast to our pleasurable stay last year.
Front desk not very helpful. Server was hesitant to give me ONE napkin (said it was for the evening). Security was rude. One of the managers was not accommodating. Rooms outdated, pool needs upgrading.
Hotel tried to charge over $100 more for the room two days before arrival on a booking locked in two months previous. Hotel ignored room preferences booked on line and instructed over the phone.
Everything was great. I thought the price was quite high for a king room. We even won at the casino.
Room and Facility were great.. Check in Ladies were EXCELLENT !!.. check out... Not so much...
No Breakfast included
We came from BC for sports and chose the hotel as the gym recommended it. We booked a family suite and when we checked in they had overbooked and gave us an overflow room for the first night and a gift card for our troubles. The room was very loud. Like really loud. Slamming doors, screaming youth running around unsupervised until midnight. We went to the Mohave grill and were glad we had a GC to use because it was terrible food. Our room the next was ready at 11 which was great. Much more spacious but overall looks like a 3 star with 3 star hygiene items. The ending machines are hard to use and not connected to the hotel so if there is an issue you have to call the ending machine owner. The pool and water slide were a hit with our daughter but the hot tub jets don’t work and the towels provided are loin cloth size. Location was close to shopping amenities but not walkable as it is highways 180 degrees around the hotel. Front desk and cleaning persons friendly. Overall we would not return.
Great time for adults and kids. Staff were great
The Deerfoot Inn and Casino is an amazing hotel. The first thing my 12 year old daughter said when we walked in was, “WOW I can’t believe you booked such a fancy, rich hotel!” But I was happy to inform her it was actually a very reasonable price. The restaurant was great, the staff was amazing, helpful and friendly, and my daughter had a blast in the waterpark.
This is a totally average hotel but for some reason (perhaps the casino) has much higher prices for accommodations and food compared to most other hotels in the vicinity. The food and rooms as well as bedding comport are average at best.
