Clean and friendly
For the price of the room, not even a morning coffee or continental breakfast included was very disappointing
This is an amazing place. Great casino. Great Staff. Everyone is so helpful. We stay here regularly. Always an outstanding stay.
Always a good time at Deerfoot inn. Everything is in great shape. Never any surprises. It's why always stay here when in Calgary
The location was nice and quiet for rest and at this same time has activities going on to engage you. The kids enjoyed the pool. The location is close to amenities but at the same time not crowded. Enough parking space. Friendly staff.
The bed is the worst I have ever slept in. It Is old and uncomfortable. Kept making noise at every movement. The pillows were so thin. Bed, mattress and Sofa bed in room 511 needs changing. I could not sleep.
Location good. We have family nearby.
Spacious rooms, comfy beds, and amaaaaazing waterslide.
It's a bit far from main attractions; you will need to have a car
Loved that check out was 12:00 and not 11:00
Loved that there was real creamers in the fridge for the coffee in the room
Loved that the cups in the room for coffee were actually glass mugs and not disposable
Evening buffet was very good with lots of variety
Staff in the casino were engaging and fun
The food overall was very good, but the breakfast buffet was the only thing I was a bit disappointed in. The waffles (my favourite for breakfast) were quite dry and the crepes were different. As well the advertisement states chicken sausage, but there was only pork.
I highly recommend the Deerfoot Inn experience. Great staff, food, & rooms. We all enjoyed ourselves thoroughly, food great, and although it was my first experience with the casino, I completely enjoyed myself.
I find the room prices way higher than other hotels in the area. The cleanliness of the rooms have deteriorated over the past year. I have stayed at Deerfoot Inn & Casino many times, and the past couple of stays left very unhappy. We have decided its time to move on and stay somewhere else.
We arrived at our hotel to check in at 4 PM and we’re told Our room was not ready. Came back half an hour later And stood in the check-in line for 45 minutes. It was a slow painful process.. We were finally able to check in just before 5 PM. our room had no towels and no coffee pods. We went down to the pool later that evening, and there were no towels at the pool either. We did attend the casino later that evening and had a pleasurable experience there.
The only criticism I have is that you have to be careful prepaying online for your room. The place that indicates the room has been paid for is not easily visible on the primary computer screen. I had to have a manager intervene to show the staff that it was prepaid then the night auditor, charged me again and I had to phone the manager to have the second charge reversed.
It is not a reflection of the quality of stay but a system issue that should be addressed with staff and the night auditor.
Amazing service ,amazing staff. Just perfect. My first time in Canada, can't wait to visit the beautiful city of a Calgary again.
This was our first visit to this hotel. We had a very nice room, hotel was quiet sound wise, we experienced the water park and enjoyed our time there. Due to other activities we did not get a chance to visit restaurants, or casino, saved for another trip to Calgary. We found the property very easy to get to, which for us in a strange city was good. Close to all the places that we had to get to. Would reccommend this hotel.
The staff were lovely.
The bed was very uncomfortable.
We stayed at the hotel with our granddaughters girls hockey team. The team breakfast buffet was simple but adequate. The rooms were very clean though the beds definitely needed new mattresses, especially the pullout couch. The restaurant was excellent and the service was superb. The Sunday brunch and prime rib buffet looked really good. The pool was enjoyed by all the kids. The fitness room was small and clean. We stayed on the top floor and found it to be very quiet. There's a curfew of 9 p.m. and I gather that the other floors were quiet after that. The lobby was a great place to meet by the warm fireplace. Parking was okay but busier on the weekend.
Staff was lovely, room was very clean, pool area was clean and fun! John's Pizza on Douglas Woods Drive SE was delicious!
THIS hotel is considerably higher priced than most in the area, due to the casino. Thee rooms are just average, pillows are poor quality. We stayed on the first floor and weren't told that its a floor that allows pets we were woken up at 2 in the morning by a barking dog..
