Pros:

Breakfast was great. Staff were helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. I liked the phone-key check in option. The location was good, since my daughter attends college in Santa Barbara.

Cons:

It was a little noisy with some high school students there for a sporting event.

Great, just minor inconveniences
Pros:

I like Hampton Inns because they serve nice breakfasts, and this one was no exception.
Convenient location close to the highway, and the room was spacious and comfortable.

Cons:

There is only one elevator and it was not particularly fast. Just be patient, you might have to wait for a while; or simply take the stairs.
When we arrived we had to wait and wait for someone to come to the front desk to check us in. There was another guest that had been waiting for a while to pay for snacks. Once they got there, they were not rude, but seemed distracted. I'm used to better service for this chain.
