Comfortable stay in an ideal location.
Pros:

Within walking distance to the Quays etc.
Friendly staff, parking on site, nice food.

Cons:

Sadly the two sinks in our room were blocking & not draining away, so they were back filling which was unpleasant.

Truly exceptional hospitality
Pros:

Had an absolutely unforgettable stay last month in HDV Exeter. The hotel is magnificent with reserved parking at the front.
Greeted by the most lovely Reception team, especially Emma, she went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect.
Our suite was spotless, offering views of the pool & manicured grounds plus the bed was incredibly comfortable.
The dining experience hosted by Jake & Tatum was world-class, offering an attentive service & anticipating every need.
Breakfast in the Bistro bathed in sunshine was exquisite, hosted by Toby & Helen.
Truly exceptional hospitality — highly recommend and will definitely return.

Great stay. Would definitely recommend and return.
Pros:

Great location, lovely decor.

Cons:

Restaurant food was not great. Considering they have such a comprehensive wine list the food needs to step up a notch to match it.

We enjoyed our stay and would stay again. Would make sure that car parking was pre booked.
Pros:

Everything was well appointed, room was very comfortable and clean. The staff were very helpful.

Cons:

When booking the night on a booking website it was not clear that parking must be pre booked at the hotel so ended up having to park the car in a public car park which was not ideal.
We felt that breakfast was very expensive and as I can’t eat a lot due to intolerances and allergies their set price was very high. Would have been better if there had been an itemised menu for a cooked breakfast rather than a collective amount.

Pros:

Bed was comfortable.

Cons:

Had to wait ages for the check-in desk team to come to the desk, which meant I checked in very late. Food was not good, breakfast was disappointing and not good coffee. Expect much higher standard for the price.

Classy hotel, but room too small for 2 humans.
Pros:

Location is good for the city centre. Property has a classy atmosphere and the spa and pool are a nice to have.

Cons:

Room was tiny, barely enough floor space for our bags and the 2 of of us couldn't be standing up at the same time. Parking was a hit and miss too...£20 for more than 4hours in the nearby public car park - but free after 6pm and on Sundays on local streets (if you can find a space)
