I've enjoyed staying at this hotel very much, and it has always stood out to me as being my favourite after coming back several times. The staff are so accommodating and friendly; plus, they're always more than welcome to help when needed.
Everyday I could, l've gone to the swimming pool here, which is so pretty and well kempt, as well as going to the cafe/bar that it's equipped with. The gym is also a nice quiet place to relax and workout whenever you have the energy to, and once you're all worn out, the massage place is an amazing choice to go to. The food here is way too good not to mention: breakfast is served as a buffet, with an appetising array of options to choose from. As well as this, the
rooms are so lovely, no matter which one you get. They're always so comfortable, and room service is really easily provided. I highly
recommend staying here!

By far the worst element was the noise - the windows are single glazed so it was incredibly loud, either from music from the pool area, events or from surrounding buildings (until late in the evening) and the call to prayer from the mosque directly behind the hotel. I had to wear my headphones the entire time I was in my room to get some peace and quiet. Despite being a 5 star hotel lots of issues and weird rules. No ironing board provided and I was only allowed to borrow one for one hour max, not ideal for a work trip. No physical information sheets provided in the room and when I scanned the QR code the website was down so couldn't get the info I needed. Breakfast was very average. The entire pool area was often occupied with a huge group connected to an event, either having lunch or socialising. I asked at the restaurant for a few bottles of water to bring back up to my room as I was sick and needed more, they gave me an incredibly expensive mineral water for this, I just wanted the water in plastic bottles that they provided in the room. I asked for a takeaway box for food I didn't finish in the restaurant, they insisted on sending it up to my room, it was sent up on the plate and not in a box so I couldn't even keep it, I just finished my dinner and was full so didn't intend to finish it upstairs? Lastly when I was leaving very early in the morning I wanted to briefly sit on the stairs outside to wait for my cab, someone stormed over and told me I couldn't sit there, so unnecessary when there was literally no one about and never been told something like that ever across many 5 star hotels I've stayed in. There are very few options for higher service hotels in Medan but I didn't have a great experience here, the rooms were low cost but everything else was incredibly expensive. Wouldn't stay here again. Our participants also ranked it low in our surveys after our event.
