The Westin Annapolis

The valet service was outstanding! Ben and Ty were both incredibly friendly, professional, and efficient. They always had our vehicle ready quickly, greeted us with a smile, and made coming and going so easy throughout our stay. They truly went above and beyond, and their excellent service made a great impression. The hotel is lucky to have them!

The hotel was clean and well staffed- I had a horrible stay nonetheless. Mom travelling with my autistic child. Called to ensure they had a pool the day of booking. Because special needs mom know better than to trust the internet! Was told they did have a pool that morning. Checked in, got changed, went downstairs, pool had been out of service all weekend. No one let us know at check in- I told them i had called and they just said oh he didn't know. No notification on the website, no sign or verbal notification at check in. General Manager could not not have cared less. Did nothing to help fix the experience and was actually condescending in his email. Dealt with extreme fallout from plans switching up and could have stayed at so many other nearby hotels with pools. The response by management was insult to injury. It affected our whole stay in the city. I was so disappointed in how this was handled.

This is a truly beautiful Westin from the lobby to the rooms - great for a romantic getaway or a wedding. Hotel is modern, luxurious looking. .75 miles to downtown, waterfront Annapolis. 2 hours, 15 minutes to Ocean City, MD.

Room: Spacious with a little couch. Refrigerator and coffeemaker with Starbucks coffee filter packs. Microwave near the ice machine. Luxurious White tea smelling bath products which reminded me of the Bulgari bath products we used to get in Celebrity suites. I took the soap which lasted me a week and still looks good - non-drying. One bottle of complementary water.

Amenities:
- Indoor pool and hot tub (felt hot).
Nice gym
- Stunning circular bar and fireplace. Drinks were pricy.
- Shuttle to downtown can be picked up outside the hotel and to the right. Runs every 20 minutes on the hour.
- Restaurants on-site but we went across the street to
Carpaccio Tuscan Kitchen & Wine Bar which was fantastic - make reservations.

Things to Note:
- City garage for parking and you will need to pay by scanning the QR code with your phone to start the timer for your car (remember your license number). It took several tries to connect to the website and get it to work. When you leave, you just drive out and it recognizes your car.
- Our room had a connecting door. I could hear the parents and child's talking while I were in the bathroom.

This is a beautiful, comfortable hotel, and I would stay here again to visit Annapolis or on my way to Ocean City.

Amazing experience and customer service. After a very hectic day of another hotel cancelling our reservation with no notice, they were able to accommodate us. The rooms are beautiful as well as the hotel in general.

Special shout out to Selena at the front desk for taking care of us and making our terrible day better. She was amazing!

Excellent car valet service.
Restaurant and bar staff very good as was the restaurant food.
Room still has a tub rather than walk-in shower and, at my age just short of 80, tubs are a caution…fortunately there was a grab bar on the tub wall.
Booked there because of proximity to Maryland Hall as well as restaurants enroute to Annapolis center.

This is a beautiful property and establishment. The staff is really friendly and the pool, jacuzzi, and gym are very clean and up-kept; essential oil clothes in a mini-fridge, really nice and refreshing.
