הכל, המיקום מול הים, העיצוב, למרות שלקחנו חדר קטן הוא היה מעוצב ומתוכנן בצורה מרווחת ונוחה. המיטה וכל הפסיליטיס היו נוחים מאד. האנשים בקבלה היו מסבירי פנים. מגבות לים זה צ'ופר. צ'ק אאוט ב 12 במקום ב11 כמקובל זה הבדל משמעותי של עוד שעה בים. בקיצור היה נהדר.

Perfect location, staff is friendly and amazing breakfast. Rooms are spacious and quiet, and we loved the big showers.

Perfekter Ausgangsort für einen Tel Aviv Besuch mit zentraler Lage.
Pros:

Das Mendeli Street Hotel ist wahrlich ein perfekter Übernachtungsort für einen Aufenthalt in Tel Aviv.

+ Lage: Das Hotel ist sehr zentral gelegen. Die Strandpromenade erreicht man zu Fuß in zwei Minuten. Es gibt mehrere Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in unmittelbarer Nähe, und wenn man etwas essen will, gibt es in der benachbarten Bograshov Street viele Möglichkeiten. Der Dizengoff-Square, quasi ein zentraler Punkt Tel-Avivs, ist ebenfalls zu Fuß in wenigen Minuten erreichbar. Da das Hotel in zweiter Reihe zur Strandpromenade liegt, ist es deutlich ruhiger als direkt an der Hauptstraße am Strand; der einzige Nachteil ist, dass man in den meisten Zimmern keinen Strandblick hat.

+ Personal: Das Personal im Hotel war stets hilfsbereit und freundlich, selbst in schwierigen Zeiten. Man fühlt sich als Gast immer willkommen und auf individuelle Wünsche wird bestmöglich eingegangen.

+ Ausstattung: Die Zimmer sind mit allem ausgestattet, was man für einen Städtetrip braucht. Neben einem eigenen Tresor und einem Kühlschrank, erhält man auch ein Willkommens-Paket (kleine Flasche Wein aus Israel & Kekse) und man bekommt immer eine neue Flasche Wasser. Die Betten sind sehr gut und komfortabel.

+ Frühstück: Das Frühstück ist einer der Hauptgründe, warum man sich für das Mendeli Street Hotel entscheiden sollte. Es werden täglich viele lokale Spezialitäten zur Verfügung gestellt und zudem sind die Qualität und die Auswahl deutlich mehr als das Standardprogramm bei den meisten Frühstücksbuffets in anderen Hotels. Man kann das Frühstücksei À la carte (z.B. Omlette, Fritata, Shakshuka, Ei-Benedict, Rührei, Spiegelei, etc.) bestellen und es wird einem frisch zubereitet.

+++ Sonstiges: Ich war im Mendeli Street Hotel Ende Februar und Anfang März 2026, als sich die Sicherheitslage aufgrund des Iran-Krieges spontan änderte. Das Hotel verfügt über einen eigenen Bunker, der Platz für alle anwesenden Gäste bot. Obwohl die Situation sehr ernst war, habe ich mich nie unsicher gefühlt.
