Great hotel excellent food and wonderful staff definitely recommend.
Pros:

Beautiful hotel with amazing staff. Food delicious fresh and always prepared with care.
Enjoyed the pool area especially at the Health Club. Attentive lifeguards especially Devendra who went the extra mile for us. Nothing too much trouble.

Spend almost a month there, very pleasant place

Everything was fine, except for the smell of the towels. They smelled like they needed a little bit of detergent.

Oh, just excellent. The view of Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque from the pool dining area is a wonderful experience. With the lighting and great variety of food. This made the best Iftar experience with my family. The tenderloin was amazing the sweets are amazing, and the staff Ranju and Ashi are welcoming and fast with their service. Thank you so much for this memorable experience I can carry with my family forever

Anniversary stay!
Pros:

My wife and I travelled to this wonderful hotel as part of our 38th wedding anniversary. We are so glad we chose this hotel. It was perfect. Every member of staff could not have been more welcoming and we were made to feel valued and appreciated throughout our stay. We chose a club room (Horizon) and this gave us a lounge for that little bit of extra privacy and comfort. The lounge also provided a most comprehensive breakfast, finger sandwiches, fruit and small cakes for lunch and evening drinks and canapes. I must also mention the staff here who were so friendly and nothing too much trouble. Particularly the gentleman from Philippines, Aurelie, Gleb and young lady from Mauritius. Our room was amazing and wonderfully looked after and kept spotless. The main buffet was superb, and we also had the barbecue at the pool bar for two evenings (one of which was our anniversary and was a very special evening looking out towards the Mosque!) . The hotel itself has everything needed for a quiet stay - centrally located and within 10 minute taxi ride of the main Mosque, golf course and the airport. We eat in the hotel, but there is plenty of choice for local and international cafes and restaurants within a 10 minute walk - either towards the Aquarium or the (modern) adjacent Souk. The infinity swimming pool is a very good size and there are plenty of sun loungers and shade. Note that this can get busy on weekends as the hotel sell day passes, which I think is understandable as a commercial business and from our experience of the UAE most hotels do this! We would definitely recommend this hotel and hope to return again next year.

Exceptional dream vacation with incredible customer service !! Simply perfection, didn’t want to leave.
Pros:

From the moment we arrived we were greeted with smiles from Alessando & Diane. As we entered the immaculate opulence of the shangri-la lobby with its beautifully polished floor and amazing floral display on its centre piece round table there you would find Ghulam serving his coffee and greeting you , he is such a great man, we spoke with him on many occasions , he has so much knowledge of the hotel and attractions surrounding it.
Our horizon deluxe suite on the 5th floor was also immaculate , and was kept that way, by our room attendant.
The view from our suite balcony was of the beach area and 1 of the pools , the lift takes you directly down to the main buffet Resturant , which blows your mind with beautiful displays, and of course the amazing food, there are so many choices to choose from at each sitting , with themed nights daily , our servers who actually are just the best always there always helpful , they literally wonderful people !! Vishal, Charmaine, Deer, Essam, Kaung, Ajit, we thank you all for your incredible service each day you are our friends for life !!
Being in the horizon room give you access to the horizon club on the 7th floor where there you can have , breakfast , snacks throughout the day , and a drinks happy hour in the evening , also with extremely high quality food the team there headed by Jane, who is one of the nicest people you would ever meet , and this is reflected in her wonderful team , Madhuri, Pooch, Aerielle, and Gleb, again you all are beautiful incredible people , I will miss you every day !!
The gym and spa are well equit and has another pool which is set on a roof top nice and relaxing quiteplace to go if you want to relax ,
The beach is extremely clean and a lovely place to go for some vitamin D.
I can’t for get the amazing chefs from the Sofra , Jananatha, Viban, Harshan and many more, thank you for all the amazing food and for being so polite and accommodating, you are truly the dream team .
At the entrance you are greeted by Siju , always a smile always a perfect gentleman .
So all in all thank you everyone for making my holiday the best it can possibly be, we left with tears in our eyes wanting to stay, we will be back I wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Abu Dhabi .
And thank you to the management you a doing a wonderful job xx

Pros:
