Barceló Malaga Hotel

We went for my Husband 60th, just for three nights, and what an amazing hotel with fabulous service, the place is immaculate, the rooms beautiful, and we received a bottle of bubbly and some chocolate strawberries on our arrival as I had informed them of my Husband‘s birthday, then yesterday on the day of his birthday when I had put his birthday cards up, they again provided another bottle of bubbly and his own little cake with a candle, and a lovely message, lovely little touches like this is what makes this place amazing, breakfast lovely, and location really good, would recommend to everybody!

Staff at this hotel were all so friendly and welcoming and efficient. Parking on site was fantastic and at €22 cheaper than other cities. A very straightforward flat 18minute walk into the old town where we can highly recommend a visit to the Central Market what an incredible place fantastic experience. The hotel has a giant slide from the first floor which was great fun.

Great stay , Rooms spacious and bed very comfy , We were celebrating our anniversary and there was a bottle of cava and strawberries waiting for us when we came back to our room

Have used this hotel before due to its close proximity to the train/bus stations.
Only stayed for 1 night and did not have breakfast due to an early start. The room was comfortable and quiet.

The Barcelo Málaga is a great place to stay when spending time in Málaga city. It has amazing staff who are always willing to help you whether that be by providing hotel services or providing information about the location. It is in a great location with easy access to transport links for the metro, buses, local trains or intercity trains. The services provided by the hotel met all our expectations and more. Excellent value for money. The nicest thing is that many of the staff have been there a number of years and they make us feel like family when we arrive. It is our Málaga home.

Great value hotel with excellent location on train from the airport. Handy being near a shopping mall but can be noisy with city life and single glassed windows. Great breakfast fast and good service.

I really enjoyed my long weekend stay, I had the room for 4 nights. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Made an early check in available without fuss. I enjoyed the location as I did lots of walking trips to the pier and the city centre. Enjoyed the local shops. Room was spacious and bed so comfortable! Loved the mechanic blackout blinds! I can’t fault my stay.

Clean, quiet and comfortable room with everything we needed for our stay - didn't use restaurant or bar as pretty much "dead" when we were there

Thank you for the accommodation, Barcelo Malaga Hotel! It was a nice stay for me. I enjoyed my stay, ate good in breakfast, and the location was really good. Justo outside the Renfe (metro-station) called Estación de Málaga María Zambrano. Super nice location.

We stayed here for a weekend break in January. The hotel is clean and conveniently located with a direct link to the station. The station has lots of shops and eateries including a supermarket. The location is approx 20 mins walk away from the old town but there are numerous buses going to the centre from directly outside the hotel and the fare is very cheap so ideal if walking is difficult. Everything iin our room was modern with a large shower, coffee machine and fabric steamer. The staff are polite and the breakfast is plentiful with lots of options. We would stay again.

This hotel is modern with the added extra of a slide and rooftop sun terrace with pool. Located next to a shopping mall with access to the train.
The hotel reception was welcoming and relaxing with a small modern bar area.
All staff were friendly and pleasant I would recommend this hotel.
Malaga is a beautiful city at Christmas time the lights we're spectacular.

Our room was modern abd immaculately clean the black out blind was great for a good night's sleep comfortable beds.

Excellent hotel. So convenient for public transport. 20min easy walk into central Malaga.
So much to do in and around Malaga. Will definitely return.

Ask for a room with view to the beach, there is direct door to the trainstation and shopping mall, with taxi

A fantastic hotel with extremely comfortable accommodation, helpful and friendly staff and a convenient location.

We came for a family weekend to Malaga and stayed in Barcelo for my wife’s birthday. Everything was perfect. There was a bottle of Cava and some chocolates waiting for us in the room. We got an early check in as well. Everyone was so nice and friendly and our room was so comfortable with modern decor. We will definitely be staying again and recommending Barcelo Malaga to everyone. Thank you.

Great location for anyone doing the marathon or half marathon or anyone looking to be close to the station and don’t mind a short walk into the centre.

We stayed at Barceló Malaga, over the marathon weekend. We enjoyed the hotel interior design and their service. The staff is really good and helpful. The location is really good, as just next to the main train station and easy to get everywhere in city. A walkeable distance (30mins) from the historical centre, but not if walking it with kids. Despite all, our little one enjoyed the big slide in the entrance hall. Highly recommended
