Convenient beautiful boutique hotel that gives you your bang for your buck.
Pros:

Beautiful boutique hotels right near the airport and beaches. We were in LA for a wedding with multiple events across the city so this was a great midway point to get to all of them while also being close to explore multiple beaches. The free to use bikes were an amazing addition plus the bar happy hour. I saw reviews complaining about the LAX noise which worried me, maybe we lucked out that our room was facing the other way but we had no issues with the noise.

Cons:

More bikes to use would have been great. If you don't get them early in the day then there is no chance to use them.

Bon hôtel près de l'aéroport
Pros:

Hôtel proche de l'aéroport avec piscine, bien décoré, chambre bien aménagée, taille raisonnable.

Cons:

Avons payé un supplément pour une chambre "city view". Au final, nous avons eu la vue sur ... l'aéroport. Le supplément "city view" est trompeur, pas correct.

Pleasant stay
Pros:

Overall we really enjoyed our stay. The room is spacious and quiet. The bed was comfortable. We had a great view of the city and ocean.

It’s very close to the airport and easy to get to places if you have a car. Unfortunately we didn’t get to use the pool but it looked amazing.

I found the front desk staff to be helpful and friendly. Valet is a little inconvenient if you need to be out early in the morning but overall it was fine.

The only downside was the little breakfast cafe in the lobby. Our reservation came with a $40 food credit but I had to pay extra to have enough for two people. The food seemed to be warmed up and it was very expensive for what you get and not especially tasty.

I would stay again but not do the breakfast add on.

Cute Hotel but Indifferent Management and insanitary conditions
Pros:

Management doesn't really seem to care about guest satisfaction or service. We stayed only one night and we discovered that our beds were not properly made with correctly sized sheets until late evening when housekeeping staff were gone. They were too small and did fully cover the exposed mattress pad nor fully cover the comforter of queen sized beds. It was late and extra sheets could not be supplied to us.

I expressed to management that I was concerned that it was not sanitary as the mattress was exposed, they simply stated that they had checked with housekeeping who stated that the correct size sheets were provided, despite the fact that I sent photos which clearly showed that they were not. We were credited valet parking in compensation, but it concerns me that despite having photos as proof, that they chose to simply go with housekeeping's word and did not bother checking the room for themselves either.

The property was trendy and cute, but will not ever stay there again due to the lack of concern by management to do their due diligence to properly investigate a legitimate guest complaint. Disappointing as a platinum Bonvoy member.

Adversarial staff and empty apologies
Pros:

I stayed here for a work trip and ran into what should have been a trivial issue: getting my Bonvoy number added to a reservation booked by an outside partner. A front desk agent had already added my colleague’s number to the same reservation. When I asked for the same, I was refused. When I pointed out the inconsistency, the agent threatened to remove my colleague’s number instead of just helping me. That’s not a policy conversation. That’s a threat.

I raised the issue with a second agent later in the day. She followed up, which I appreciated, but the response amounted to: “we can’t help you, sorry for the confusion.” No accountability, no attempt to make it right, just boilerplate.

What bothered me most wasn’t the policy itself. It was the hostility from the first agent and the complete lack of any real resolution. Two Bonvoy members, one reservation, and the property’s response to a straightforward request was to get adversarial rather than find a path forward.

The property is fine. The room was fine. But loyalty programs only mean something when properties treat members with basic respect. This fell well short of that.

Great stay. Very good Bonvoy experience. Parking was not great. Self parking would improve experience. But a good stay.

De wc is 2x verstopt, dit werd dan wel geregeld, maar toch jammer dat het gebeurt.
