Pros:

We had a truly lovely stay and would happily recommend this hotel to others. The location is one of its strongest points – perfectly situated for exploring the area on foot, with major sights, restaurants, and shops just steps away. It made our trip incredibly convenient and enjoyable.

Cons:

One thing future guests should keep in mind is that parking is available but comes at an additional cost of €30 per day. It’s good to be aware of this in advance when planning your budget, especially if arriving by car.

Soggiorno davvero piacevole all’Hotel Silla. La gentilezza del personale è a dir poco fantastica: sempre disponibili, sorridenti e pronti ad aiutare. Ottima anche la pulizia, curata e impeccabile. Un’accoglienza che fa davvero la differenza. Consigliatissimo!

Elegant hotel close to Old Florence
Pros:

The hotel room was elegant with a fully renovated bathroom, including a bathtub and bidet. The bed was comfortable and the high ceilings made the room feel grand. The heater worked well as we had some cold nights.+1°C.
Breakfast was available in a lovely room with chandeliers. There was the usual eggs and bacon but also a European offering of meats, cheeses, pastries, fruit, granola, yogurt and even honeycomb.
The outdoor terrace looked onto the old city and had heaters inside. Smoking was not allowed in this area. Tea and coffee were available in this area each afternoon.
I had the hotel do laundry for us at a cost only a little more than a self serve place I used in Nice.
And the location was perfect! It was a 15 minute walk to Uffizi and 20 minutes to the top of Michaelangelo Piazza. There were many restaurants nearby at a variety of price points.
The cost of this hotel with breakfast included was so affordable in January.

Cons:

The noise and smell from the renovation, but it was only for a very short time and the staff were apologetic.
