So cute and cozy. The staff is above and beyond. dinner and a movie every night who could ask for more.
No evening time swim- just too weird to be in the pool next to people eating their dinner.
I thought the front desk staff were all really nice and checking in/out was quick and easy. My room (Classic Pearl) was bigger than I was expecting, so although I was travelling solo, I think it would work for a couple. The room was comfortable and got great natural light. The full length mirror and bluetooth radio were nice touches for getting ready in the morning as well.
I was surprised by how well connected the location is to public transit- just a short bus ride to the Old Town Transit center and/or downtown. It was nice to be able to visit the zoo and get to the airport for just a few dollars (and grab coffee at Better Buzz on my way).
There’s a fair bit of noise from the diners around the pool area. If you go to bed early and/or a light sleeper, this hotel probably isn’t the spot for you.
good location
terrible room placement. next to kitchen and hearing everything in bar area with the thin walls
I like the location the most
I didn’t particular like my room. There was so long mirror. I got a room with a busy patio shared with two other people. I wouldn’t prefer something more private. I wish the bar was open later.
Lovely decor and feel to the hotel - quite a buzz in the restaurant. Friendly staff.
Everything went great. Staff was super friendly and informative. Loved the room and the authentic mid century vibe. I will definitely recommend it to my readers.
Bed was a little soft, though not really a problem. Shower floor was slippery, probably because of the liqued soap, conditioner etc mounted on the wall.
Great hotel, very clean and comfortable. Would recommend.
Love the decor. The bed was super comfortable.
That it get’s packed with people from the restaurant downstairs.
We loved the comfort of the bed along with the very spacious room. The details throughout were perfect.
Both nights we had a couple drinks and food in the restaurant & bar. We were very looked after and enjoyed all of what we had. Having the marina a short walk away was also nice to offer additional places for food and drink.
Additional parking cost for the car.
Rooms could include a fridge.
I loved the vintage feel and intimate vibe. The room was spotless, had all the channels, comfy bed, nice bathroom.

We had a mixed experience at the Pearl. The hotel is stylish and clean and the staff were friendly. Bed was comfortable and shower/toiletries were good. The suite is small for 4 people (2 adults/2 teens) but we weren't in our room much. Service is very limited -- restaurant open just for dinner and not every day. No breakfast, except for coffee service. No daily housekeeping. No fridge or coffee maker in room. Parking is very limited -- we paid for parking but there were no spaces, so we had to circle the block to find parking (the front desk thankfully removed the parking charge.) Our room keys were also inconveniently de-activated a day before our check out. Location was convenient with a car. Not the most charming immediate walkable area, but good base to explore the city. Overall, our stay was fine, but given the price point we paid, I didn't think it was great value.
property is a unique little boutique motel

Friendly staff. Clean and comfortable room
The hotel is located on a very busy and noisy road.
we came for my friends‘s wedding and really enjoyed our time at the pearl. It is such a cute space and our room was clean, , and stylish. I really enjoyed the AESOP soap and body products in the bathroom. The restaurant/bar downstairs was a great hangout space with delicious food and fun drinks. I hope to come back again!
The Pearl is a very nice boutique hotel, very modern and in a good location. Lots of coffee shops/restaurants in the area and close to Shelter Island (great place to walk). Very clean but a small room. Would have been nice to have more hooks and shelves but not a deal breaker (stayed in smaller rooms that this). Wifi for TV was "in and out"-limited channels-fyi. The heating controls were a little tricky but the staff helped with that. Did try out their HH and planned to eat at the restaurant, but, cancelled since we heard the delivery for their specialty "prime rib" had not made it. And the oysters were suspect and not fresh-not sure if they were from a jar and thrown on the half shell...but, not any oyster I have ever seen. :)
Overall, the service was fantastic. The front desk staff were awesome and accommodating. We had to stay a few extra days due to the ice/snowstorm in TX and they were able to help us out. For the value, it was great.
We LOVE staying at the Pearl! Aside from a great vintage atmosphere, cozy rooms, and the amazing design of the hotel— the food, drinks, and service this trip were phenomenal!
Yesterday evening, Meg provided excellent service during the “Golden Hour” at Ponyboy. We felt extremely at ease and comfortable our entire stay and are already planning our next trip!
Staff was exceptional-ver accommodating and extremely helpful. Great location, modern room and great body products.
Going from the room to the lobby-a bit of a task especially if folks were eating poolside. Could use more hooks to hang items in the bathroom and room/ storage. Working the TV (2 controls-when you only need one?) and room temp was not so easy. WiFi in and out for the TV and literally had to go to the front desk to figure out how to manage the room temp (wouldn't a thermostat be easier?)
