Needs an overhaul. A bit run down.
Pros:

Disappointing visit this last trip. Not the usual warm welcome this time. Our 30th stay at the Rex and we discovered the shower was blocked.

Cons:

Not much to enjoy this time, high prices and average service. Better shop around.

歴史を感じる良いホテル
Pros:

歴史のある建築物。良い意味で古風で、調度品なども古めかしくて良い。クラシックな雰囲気が好きであればとても気にいると思う。
老朽化が目立つ点もあるが、それも味と思える。
そして立地が素晴らしい。

Cons:

スタッフ（特にポーター？コンシェルジュ？）の対応がイマイチと感じた。部屋の案内が特になかったため、廊下で案内板を確認していると、荷物を運ぶポーターが後ろから大声で何か怒鳴ってくる。急かされ、とりあえず廊下の分岐を進むと、再び怒号が飛ぶ。どうやら進む方向を間違っていたと思われる。碌な説明をせず、後ろから急かすように案内するのは、五つ星ホテルとして少々レベルが低いのではと感じてしまう。
また、タクシーに荷物を載せる際、近くにいたポーターは、一切手助けしなかった。
もちろんとても親切なポーター含むスタッフもいたので、スタッフ個人の問題と思われるが、サービス内容が個人でバラつくのは、指導体制の弱さの表れだろう。
