Cons:

A bit of old world charm about this place but it is in need of a bit of an upgrade. Was disappointed that there was a lot of drilling and hammering from about mid morning so it was very hard to relax in the room or to try to have a nap in the middle of the afternoon.

Pros:

Very hospitable staff, welcoming and friendly. Room was very clean, comfortable and gym/pool facilities very nice also. Very hard to find fault!

Great hotel and location
Pros:

Location was great
Close to the main shopping and tourist area

Cons:

On arrival I was informed that they would upgrade my room to a suite.
Handed me keys to a room that’s was already occupied
The next room was not an upgrade and I ended up staying in a room that’s I had originally booked
Staff appeared unfriendly and not very welcoming

Great location and great choice at breakfast, friendly staff, comfortable bed
Pros:

A traditionally decorated hotel in the perfect location for walking to Ben Than Market and restaurants as roads are so busy to get around in a taxi so walking best option

Cons:

Although the room had an ironing board you had to request an iron from reception , would be better to have already in the room, a make up magnifying mirror in the bathroom would be good too

Will definitely recommend!
Pros:

We had a wonderful stay at Rex Hotel! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, from the bellboy outside to everyone inside the hotel. The location is perfect, right in the center, making it easy to explore the city. Breakfast was excellent, with a great variety of delicious options.

Cons:

Rooms are dated.
