If canceled before 7 days prior to arrival, the property will refund the deposit minus a cancellation fee.

Your total charges include all taxes and a $10 per night historic conservation fee. This fee supports maintaining our unique historic Victorian mansion and the Historic Preservation Commission of Santa Cruz, dedicated to maintaining the many historic buildings throughout the City.

Pets are allowed in this property upon request as long as they do not exceed the weight limit of 40 lbs. Please contact the property in advance. Additional fees may apply.

Great location wonderful staff
Pros:

I really enjoyed the location of the property as well as a delicious breakfast that was served in the morning. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Cons:

The property did not have air-conditioning which at the time I was there was borderline getting warm

Pros:

The place was very clean. The location was fantastic. The breakfast, wine hour, all day coffee, tea and filtered water were very nice. Plus a home baked chocolate chip cookie in the evening and free parking for one car. Exceptional

It was a nice night to splurge but I would only stay for 1 night.

Location was great and convenient to west cliff drive walk.

Great stay!
Pros:

This is a great place to stay. It's walking distance to the Warf as well as the Boardwalk. You can also walk to the shops down town on Pacific Ave. I will 100% be staying here again.

Cons:

it's an older building so there is no AC. It wasn't hot when we were there, but I could see it being a problem on a hot day.

Pros:

Our room was large and had a beautiful view of the ocean. We enjoyed sitting and relaxing by the windows during the day and evening. The breakfast was delicious and the wine and cheese in the afternoon was an extra bonus. We will be back.

Our stay was very good
Pros:

Everything , it had an elegant bed and breakfast feel. There was a wine and cheese hour and breakfast was an assortment of interesting items all made in house.

Cons:

No air conditioning, not that we needed it but then the windows were open and we were on the 1st floor level with the wrap around porch.

A perfect staycation anniversary trip for me and my husband! We will certainly be visiting again!
Pros:

I loved the architecture of the home, friendliness of staff, and especially the provided food and drinks. The wine and cheese was excellent and the perfect thing to start off the evening. Our brunch was so delicious and filling we didn't actually need to eat again that day until dinner! We'd love to visit again.

Cons:

The bathroom could use a few more hooks for towels and hand towels. I think adding in a soft rug or additional blankets could make the room feel a little more cozy and luxurious, but I understand how that must be hard to maintain in a commercial space.

Pros:

Area was quite. Breakfast was good. Cookies tasted fantastic. Bed was comfortable.

Cons:

Parking is tight, not really enough space for a full size truck. Was a little stuffy in the room, there is no air conditioning, just fans. Shower head was a little small, could use a bigger one.

Beautiful property! Amazing location. Parking on site. We could walk everywhere. Very friendly staff. Wonderful wine&cheese hour. Breakfast was delicious. Loved it!

Cons:

We never could get the fireplace to work, but it was warm so we really didn’t need it.

Unexpectedly world class.
Pros:

The breakfast is great, staff is amazing and very accommodating. We were even able to rent bikes and cruise around the area. It’s close to the boardwalk, but just far enough to have some peace and quiet. The sitting room looks out over the ocean and is truly amazing.

Nothing, it is the perfect hotel!
