Great escape close to Mexico City.
Pros:

Wonderful get away just an hour and a half from CDMX. The place is heaven all around. Rooms, pool, surroundings and a fabulous spa. Had multiple treatments while there. Anny was the best! Thank you.
The entire staff was superb and the food was the unexpected highlight of the stay.
Definitely will return!!!!

Wonderful experience!
Pros:

Beautiful hotel, so charming, calm and peaceful. The staff was wonderful and I also highly recommend paying a visit to the spa! Adriana was a great masseuse!

Estancia perfecta para un fin de semana con tu pareja en la privacidad de un espacio superior.
Pros:

Las instalaciones son hermosas... muy cuidadas y los jardines maravillosos. La arquitectura tal cual las fotos y los ambientes en cualquier horario son fantásticos. Y la atención del personal de primera.

Cons:

El restaurant es muy caro... los platillos intentan ser muy sofisticados pero no lo consiguen. No tiene que ser comida tan compleja para un restaurante de hotel... con que esté bien presentada y de gran calidad es suficiente. Prefiero gastarlo en el SPA que en unos huevos o hotcakes caros. La ubicación deja mucho que desear... a menos de que vayas a un evento cerca de ahí, no hay nada para hacer cerca... hay que moverse en auto distancias importantes e virtud de que estás de vacaciones.

So Grateful for such a place!
Pros:

Just Perfect! The right balance of caring, comfort and respect for nature. A place for disconnect and reconnect with yourself. If you are looking for a loud and shouting luxury experience, this is not your place. But if you want to get pampered and enjoy food and every smile and act of kindness of the staff, this is the right place!
PS. I am back in Europe, and I miss the Shampoo and Conditioner, the best I have ever tried!

Pros:

Me gusto mucho la atención, la tematica del hotel, le ponen mucho corazón a todo, incluso a la comida, tuve un desayuno espectacular en el restaurante, instalaciones muy comodas, muy buen servicio.

Cons:

Debido al compromiso que tenia que era por la zona, me quedó muy bien reservar en este hotel, sin embargo por la ubicación me seria complicado volver ya que no ubico nada cercano en la zona de mi interés, sin embargo podría considerarlo para un fin de semana de relajación y desconexión.

LOS ALIMENTOS MUY BUENOS. EL PERSONAL MUY AMABLE, PERO CON MUCHAS LIMITACIONES EN CUANTO AL SENTIDO DE HOSPITALIDAD, LES FALTA MUCHO ENTRENAMIENTO PARA DAR MEJOR SERVICIO. LOS ALIMENTOS TARDABAN MUCHÍSIMO, ENTRE PLATILLO Y PLATILLO CASI MEDIA HORA DE DIFERENCIA. NO QUERIAN SEPARARARNOS LAS CUENTAS DE DOS HABITACIONES PORQUE "SU SISTEMA" NO LO PERMITÍA Y TENÍAB QUE SEPARARNOS LAS MESAS.

Cons:

LA HABITACIÓN QUE NOS DIERON ESTABA "RECIÉN REMODELADA" (NO ESTABA TERMINADA) EL MOBILIARIO ESCASO Y VIEJO, EL BAÑO (W.C) NO TENÍA PUERTA, SÓLO UNA CORTINA. NO NOS QUISIERON CAMBIAR DE HABITACIÓN PORQUE SEGÚN ELLOS TODOS ESTABAN SIN PUERTA, COSA QUE FUE MENTIRA, ASISTIMOS COMO INVITADOS A UNA BODA Y LOS DEMÁS NOS COMENTARON QUE TODAS LAS HABITACIONES SÍ TENÍAN PUERTA EN EL W.C., NO HABÍA AGUA CALIENTE PORQUE SOBREPASARON DE HABITACIONES ALQUILADAS Y LOS PANELES SOLARES NO FUERON SUFICIENTES. LA HABITACIÓN FUE LA #207 (ASTEROIDES).

The best day pass spa experience!
Pros:

This is my fourth visit to Mision Del Sol and every visit is a delight. The day pass during the week is a must do. I enjoyed my facial with Adriana and look forward to returning.

Die Anlage, die Gärten und der Pool sind wunderschön gestaltet und gepflegt. Das Essen des Restaurants und am Pool ist köstlich und sehr phantasievoll zubereitet.
Der Kontakt mit der Concierge Ximena und dem gesamten Personal ist außergewöhnlich freundlich.
Toller Spa!

Cons:

Unsere Villa mit zwei Schlafzimmern war extrem spartanisch ausgestattet und sah nicht so aus wie auf den Fotos. Es fehlten Terrassen-Möbel und eine Nachttischlampe. Sie wurden auf Anfrage gebracht, aber insgesamt wirkte unsere Unterkunft so, als würde sie nicht regelmäßig vermietet bzw. als würden Möbel von dort aus manchmal in andere Zimmer gebracht.

Week of farm to table food, rest and sunshine….add in the spa and poof MAGICAL!

Working in healthcare is so stressful. Myself and two of my nursing friends wanted to travel somewhere secluded, quiet and relaxing to recharge from our busy day-to-day lives in Canada. We chose Mision Del Sol resort and we were not disappointed! This place is a hidden gem, we felt very safe and had the most peaceful girls week! The old world, Spanish style, and rainforest feel only added to our relaxation! The farm to table food was exquisite. My friends eczema went away in just three days, this place is just what we needed to unwind. I cannot thank the ladies in the spa enough. I had three treatments. My favourite was the hot stone massage and body scrub. My skin is still sparkling! Adrienanna,Banessa, Georgie And Jazmin thank you for VIP treatment in the spa! We also want to send a special, thank you to Alejandro. He was the best server there always with a big smile! The biggest thank you go out to Mike the director, Roberto and Ximena for taking special care of us and making sure everything was smooth every day! We loved the complementary coffee, tea and treats served in our terrace every morning we enjoyed sitting in the sun with the waterfall outside our room, we also loved the handmade chocolates sent to our room every night as a sweet treat before bed. Since I’ve been home, I’ve been telling everyone about this place thank you everyone there for being so amazing kind people are hard to find these days. I would love to go back to this resort and I would rate it at 10 out of 10!
