Excellent location at the heart of the city. The hotel is not too luxurious, but at this price point there's nothing missing either (clean rooms, 24h reception, luggage storage, iron and board, even a kettle. It's a walking distance to most attractions but not crowded. Felt quite safe both in and around the hotel
Nothing to highlight really
Great location with an excellent breakfast option, great for those early starts. Just a short stroll to the Catalunya Square Metro station and La Rambla.
The room I had was very dark, with no natural light as the window faced into a ventilation shaft area where the air conditioning units were housed, it didn't help that the predominant colour in the room was dark green, it just sucked the light away. I stayed for 4 nights and sadly there was no closet to hang clothes, just a rail hanging from the ceiling, this combined with the darkness and small nature of the room made it feel claustrophobic. It would be OK for a single night, but in my opinion, not great for longer stays. The corridor was also very dark with the light operated by a sensor, but you had to walk a fair way into an almost pitch-black hallway, before the lights turned on. The sink didn't drain too well either. It was OK for a single short stay traveller.
