Very quaint and basic.
Pros:

Good location for central Adelaide, tram stop, Adelaide Oval and Rundle Mall.

Cons:

Extremely basic room. If all you need is a shower and bed then this is it. Nice staff and great fast communication which was good. When you’re told your queen room has no view, it actually has legit no view. It’s ok for quick in and out of the city.

Great value, clean and comfortable.
Pros:

It’s a budget motel but it’s really good for the value. The room was spacious and the lovely lady at the front desk upgraded me and told me some good spots to visit. Felt very safe staying here as a solo female despite the area being a busy strip that sometimes can attract some interesting folk. Nice view of the city too and sunset up on the top floor.

Cons:

Nothing I could fault for the value of the property. Felt like the room had everything I needed to have a comfortable stay.

Old aircon no remote, bathroom very small. Didn’t appreciate sign in the bathroom about setting off fire alarm .windows were dirty. Shower recess, dodgy with grout glue.

It was like staying overnight at the office, but we had beds
Pros:

Location was excellent, easy access to public transport, restaurants, and shopping centres.

Staff were friendly and very helpful.

Cons:

Some noise from neighbouring pubs, but this can’t be helped due to neighbourhood.

Pros:

This is a halfway house, not a motel or hotel for guests. The rooms are disgusting, old, dirty and broken and look like a prison cell. There was broken glass through the cupboards and carpets. Worst of all was how unsafe the place is. There is no security, no reception past 7pm and the whole place is dank narrow corridors that are incredibly scary when you come across the other residents that are obviously intoxicated or on drugs and you know there is no one there to help you. To check in after hours you have to wait in an alleyway in the middle of the worst part of the city and call multiple times until the after hours service answers the phone and gives you the door code. Our room stank of weed smoke from the room next to us, at least it overpowered the mouldy smell of the whole place. We left after one night, and the hotel won’t give me a refund, despite the fact that my daughter was too scared to stay there another night after coming across the intoxicated men outside our room and the rooms are way, way worse than they look in the photos.
