The location to shopping was great! We were able to walk to downtown. The breakfast was pretty good too.

Cons:

When we entered into the room, we were met with a really horrible smell. It was a strong musty smell. We contacted the front desk and they came and sprayed a deodorizer in the room. I can’t say it fixed the problem, I just think we got used to the smell. Then we discovered tiny black ants in the bed and around the sink the second night. We were already in bed so we didn’t say anything until the next morning when we were checking out.

Great location, spacious rooms, delicious breakfast, and exceptionally thoughtful staff!
Pros:

We really enjoyed our stay! The location is excellent, especially for exploring downtown Fredericksburg on foot. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious, with a great selection.

What impressed us most was the staff’s honesty and attentiveness. We accidentally left our son’s VR headset behind, and the hotel called us to let us know. We were able to return and pick it up. We truly appreciated that!

Cons:

The hotel is a little dated and could benefit from some updates and minor renovations. However, this didn’t significantly affect our stay.

Pros:

The air conditioning was excellent! We could have hung meat in there. The room was very spacious and the location was excellent for walking down Main Street.

Nice one-night stay
Pros:

We stopped at this hotel on our way slightly further down the road to help our daughter move.

There was plenty of parking for our small U-haul which was nice and the facility was clean and very well-maintained.

We arrived during a several hour systemwide Hilton IT outage but the team handled it like true pros!

Breakfast was good - typical Hampton Inn fare in a clean facility.

The room was comfortable and while clearly an older set up, extremely well maintained. Shower was hot and powerful- love when this is the case.

I suggest leaving your a/c on "fan" rather than auto to minimize the disruption during the night of it turning on and off - it kept the room very comfortable. Also this way the fan drowns out the sound of nearby highway!

Great one-night stay in a very nice area! We were able to walk to dinner (about a half mile in our case) on wide, well-maintained sidewalks.

Great staff and a very nice hotel
Pros:

The accomodation was exactly as described and everything was in very good condition. Staff were kind and helpful and the location at the end of Main street was convenient to everything in town.

I particularly want to think the front desk staff who were very kind when we had a crisis back home. We will not forget that. Hope to return again soon!

The choices for breakfast was good. Location was close to downtown.

Cons:

Information about restaurants in the area was missing; no yellow pages type document. Bed mattress was extra firm and we like a softer mattress.

Pros:

The location is perfect. Right on Main. Great pool, large rooms with balconies. Very nice staff. Dollar General next door was quite convenient too .

Above average hotel in a great location.
Pros:

Great location on Main Street. Friendly staff, excellent breakfast.

Cons:

Expensive for this kind of hotel, but compared to other hotels in the area it may be considered a bargain. 4pm check-in. Almost any hotel I have stayed in has been a 3pm check-in.

Overall our stay was great.
Pros:

Great location. Very clean. Staff was professional and friendly.

Cons:

Smoking was allowed on balcony. Fortunately no guest around us was smoking.
Even though the courtyard was very pretty , no attention was directed to a cleaning up of stomach contents on the floor around the fire pit. We watched three evenings in a row staff lighting the pit and walking over the area that needed cleaning. Guest were obviously dodging it but staff paid no attention.
