Above average hotel in a great location.
Pros:

Great location on Main Street. Friendly staff, excellent breakfast.

Cons:

Expensive for this kind of hotel, but compared to other hotels in the area it may be considered a bargain. 4pm check-in. Almost any hotel I have stayed in has been a 3pm check-in.

Overall our stay was great.
Pros:

Great location. Very clean. Staff was professional and friendly.

Cons:

Smoking was allowed on balcony. Fortunately no guest around us was smoking.
Even though the courtyard was very pretty , no attention was directed to a cleaning up of stomach contents on the floor around the fire pit. We watched three evenings in a row staff lighting the pit and walking over the area that needed cleaning. Guest were obviously dodging it but staff paid no attention.

We would stay here again if we were staying in Fredericksburg.
Pros:

The location of Hampton Inn & Suites made walking the downtown Fredericksburg easy. There were enough public spaces to gather with relatives for a family reunion.

Cons:

The gazebo area is close to traffic. It is a bit noisy.

Great place to stay right off of Main St.!
Pros:

We had a great stay! Everyone that we interacted with on staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. Everything was very clean. Every time I walked out of my room I saw somebody cleaning something. Great location, just a few steps off of Main St. The hot food at breakfast left a bit to be desired but there were so many delicious waffle toppings that I just filled up on those. We will definitely be back!

Great staff and it is very close to everything on Main Street.

Not worth 47,000 points
Pros:

My wife and I have stayed here a number of times without issue. This time after a long day traveling, checking in and getting to our room, we found our room door was somewhat open and upon entering there was a coffee cup and cookie sleeve on the floor near the door. Back down to the front desk for another room which we got. Upon checking out I requested that we have some points returned to our account due to the situation and the individual indicated that she would do that. And not to my surprise, to date, we have not received any points returned to our account. Being a Hilton Honors member for a very long time you think that would have meant something also. Even if everything was perfect the room was definitely not worth 47,000 points. Greed over making things right.
