I requested wheelchair accessible. I had a bathtub so I was not able to shower.
Not up to their usual standards for cleanliness. Our shower had an excessive amount of mold and mildew at the grout at the bottom. Glass shower door has water stains. The shower gel appeared to have a broken pump dispenser but I say appeared because I would not have touched it even if it had been working because the bottle was smeared with something blackish green. The floor in the halls had things that should have been picked up or vacuumed more frequently. The floor in our room also seemed to have not been vacuumed or swept. This is the first negative review I ever remember giving for a Hilton Garden Inn. When I told the desk people about the issues and showed them the pictures they did not really seem concerned but said they would make a note. The staff were friendly. I did have trouble with key cards and digital key not working on second day of stay so had to go back down to get that reprogrammed. I had stayed here a year before while it was being remodeled and it was great then.
Good location
Door trim still had masking tape and paint from jamb was stuck in door. Thermostat was loose on the wall and the shower gel dispenser was empty.
Addressed this his issue with hotel, toilet was not stable. Counter had prior food/ grease on counter.
Young lady at bar was very kind and provided excellent service.

This HGI is an older hotel that was recently renovated and seems to be well maintained. Their Secret-Sauce is the VERY Personal and Professional Staff (i.e., Jarrett & Mary / Front-Desk, Leslie / Bar & Restaurant, and the Housekeeping Team.
Every staff member, I met was engaging and made my stay memorable. This will be my hotel of choice for my next five visits to the Hattiesburg /Columbia this year.
All the employees are great but one! If you want breakfast I the am i suggest you drive to Alaska, order, and drive back it will be faster! THE MORNIN BREAKFAST PERSON SHOULD BE FIRED! He is not helping you business. We sat in the breakfast area and watched business men order omelets. We watched them leave after 45 min. The omelets showed up 10 min later. We told the breakfast person we would jut take the food they order so it did not go to waste... he held on to it for another 15 min then brought it to us... As for the rest of the staff, they are efficient, responsive and very helpful, especially Leslie at the bar in the evenings. The rooms are good. Place is clean and no other issues... AVOID BREAKFAST AT ALL COST OR AT LEAST TILL THAT EMPLOYEE IS GONE!
The breakfast was great!! Even the young lady that was there on Sunday morning was very helpful. The room was nice and clean and cold cause it was very hot. The maintenance guy I didn't get his name. He was recently hired only work weekends.. he helped me while on his lunch break when I was having a issue with my car he found a way to get my brake light to go off so it wouldn't run my battery down 🤗🤗. My kids enjoyed the pool area 😌 did not want to get out. . the lady that housekeeping was very nice as well 🥰 You have a great hotel in a great location great staff ❤️
The hot tub /Jacuzzi was the only thing it worked Saturday night just the next day the jets didn't work but it was still nice 🙂 the pool water was really cold. Guessing it doesn't have a temp sensor.. my stay was June 28. It's July 27 I still haven't received my Incidentals money back and the room was kept well as we left . I didn't know it takes that long 😕 I was charged for the bar and also breakfast but we only had breakfast 😔 which good by the way
Jaysen in the dining room was great. He made us amazing breakfast and provided very great service. He has a great personality and enjoyed talking to him. I see great opportunities in his future.
The room was very nice, clean and quiet. There was small bar
In the lobby and you could order
Food and eat in or take
Out for both dinner and breakfast. The staff were all very professional and accommodating It’s pet friendly and that is a requirement for us. Will definitely stay again
Clean, Good Staff, no issues
There was no hot water. TV channel weren’t working either. Kept saying no signal found. The heat/air unit would never shut off. I have stayed at this hotel before and it has gone down hill dramatically. I would not stay here if you are expecting Hilton quality.
Perfect location
The breakfast.
